Things tend to look different depending on the light source... That's just a fact of reality.

Physics 101 :-)
(or maybe 102)

Human beings never see other human beings since our vision is in the optical and not the infra red. We specifically see light being reflected off other human beings.

I'm personally fine with the WW colors, the suit looks great.

WW is anything but dull but that costume does her no favors. Much in the same way as the costume for Cavill's Superman was shown in MOS to look differently depending on the light source, I hope they can do something with the color for her costume in BvS.

I sort of thought MoS looked a lot like Bay's Armageddon in terms of cinematography.

Well isnt WW suit supposed to be more colorful? Im sure that photo has some type of filter on it like the batfleck photo

I didn't want an actor who was large or brutish.

I just wanted an actor who wouldn't seem so child-like next to Cavill and Affleck.

Jason Clarke or Corey Stoll would have been the type of actor I'd have liked to see.

But alas, the role is cast and I'll just have to deal with it and hope that he pulls out something new and innovative.

Does that help?

The best thing about Lex Luthor is that he went to high school with Catwoman.

I hope there is a filter on the pic because WW's look isnt bronze all over. She's known for a colorful costume, like you say.

Is it necessary that she dress like the American flag?

Sorry I just don't see it.

Luthor is presumably not playing some meathead in a power suit in this version.

I expect some Machiavellian and determined businessman, more similar to what we saw in Smallville than what we saw in Justice League Unlimited.

Why not? Wonder Woman is one of the heroes who has been closely identified with a patriotic look. If you change too much about WW you change the character and that's a risk moving forward for WB because they are obviously keen to set up a solo WW movie.

Anyone else hoping we see the batcave? I'd love a quick scene of Bruce walking in the cabe & in the back are some "Bat Family" costumes in some type of case. My mind would be blown. I can't wait for a proper Batman movie w/ Nightwing, Batgirl, etc..

There is very obviously a filter, and a heavy one, anyone with two eyes can see that, and I mean that completely seriously, if you have any doubts at all that there's a filter you need your eyes checked. a couple minutes and a few different methods for reducing filters make it obvious that the costume is red, blue, and gold with silver bracers.

I think one way they can address the destruction of Metropolis in this new movie is Lois and Clark can interview people affected by the event.

If done right, it could be one of the most intimate and emotional scenes in the movie- different perspectives of people and the sacrifices that happened on that day. Some are thankful. Some are resentful. I wonder how Clark would react and reflect after those interviews.

Yes that's what I wanted too.

Lex wasn't a meathead in JLU either. Yes he wore a power suit on occasion, but he was probably the most business savvy and cunning Luthor out of any onscreen interpretations.

We will see the Batcave, that I am certain of. I expect Batman to be angry and lashing out, as he remembers the fallen Robin, and seeing Alfred trying to console him as this new Batman becomes obsessed with the alien called Superman in Metropolis, and who has come to his city. I dont think we will see Batgirl and a current Bat-family though.

I hadn't noticed the blue before :-)

I thought Lex was pretty interesting in STAS.

In JLU, he was concerned with more power, he was all about power suits and aligning miscellaneous villains in inane schemes.

The only interesting thing Lex did in JLU involved his interactions with the robot.

When he merged with Brainiac though, to form Lexiac, that was ridiculous. I shook my head.

So you mean what hackman & spacey already did with the character? **** it maybe they should do something we havent seen on film & actually give him a suit in this movie.

Nope.

The suit's inherently uninteresting. It exists to sell action figures, as a story point it doesn't make any sense. No robosuit will stand up to Superman, even if it did Lex would assign it to minion, and even then he is about challenging Superman on an intellectual level and in terms of the public image, not about beating him up in the schoolyard.
