Come on guys, be respectful, he's from Brazil. Im sure you can understand what he's getting at.

But no, i don't agree with it. This is no race. WB should do what they're doing, take their time. Quality over quantity. For me personally, i can care less about seeing a Flash movie, another Green Lantern movie (even if done right), Teen Titans, Aquaman, even another Superman movie. I just don't care. So i get it when WB just wants to use Batman, or a Justice League that involves the other heroes, but puts Batman/Superman at the center.

Im curious about Justice League but not excited. I want to see if they'll do something different than Avengers, copy Avengers or just do a slightly more serious version of it. But that idea doesn't make me jump from my seat. I dont need to see it. I would be content just getting Batman movies after this B v S film.

I'd be into a Wonder Woman movie if it wasn't for my doubts on Gal Gadot, who i don't believe has it in her to lead an entire solo franchise and be dynamic enough to pull that off, making me believe in the character. I think she's sweet, she's eye candy, and she's fine enough to be in a crowded team-up movie. But nothing more. So now i unfortunately don't even care about solo Wondy.

Im usually a Marvel hater, but the last two movies they've released....well...i enjoyed the hell out of em'. Much to my own surprise. I enjoyed Sin City 2 more than some. Yet, im still getting a bit burnt on the comic book movie stuff. Sin City is original visually, and Guardians was pretty fresh for the genre. Obscure too. But i dont see where they can take a JL without repeating things we've seen so many times with sci-fi team-ups. It just feels like a money grabber and nothing else. Im getting bored with alien invasions, where American characters have to save the planet, yet they mainly just show the United States lol.
This is a vey depressing post. You are a SUPERMAN fan Goddamit!Have some hope

Shaunner's right, his first language isn't English I assume. Also the idea that DC has to catch up to Marvel is so tiring. It isn't a race. Plus, Paulgonzo, you complain about DC not focusing on any of their other heroes when they are expanding their universe on TV and then you scoff it off by saying, "It's just TV,". Well movie or not, there are exciting things happening in their TV universe and they aren't focused on just Batman and Superman. Also, no one knows the plan of DC and WB quite yet. You're complaining about a JL movie being far away but not interested in the idea that they'll do one? Obviously their rumored plan isn't focused on just Batman and Superman. Settle down and quit with the DC are so behind. I'd rather they be "behind" than doing **** all.

Yeah, getting nothing but Batman solo movies after BvS would suck. We've already had our fair share of those movies the over the last few years. Now don't get me wrong, I like Batman. I'm just ready for some other DC characters to get some shine on the big screen. Not to mention, I'm really enjoying the current Superman that is on film.

Considering the announced release dates, JLA is likely coming out in late 2017:
  • 08/05/16 - Shazam or Aquaman
  • 06/23/17 - Aquaman or Shazam
  • 11/17/17 - Justice League

That's my prediction.

I know this is probably not gonna happen, but i would like to see a flash film take the place of shazam or aquaman. it's a little easier to include arthur in a wondy or a jl film. the flash, not so much. that gl/flash team up makes a lot more sense after JL, (though i would prefer it if we were getting a flash solo AND a Gl, I'm not holding my breath for that) since they'll likely be buddies after that.

shazam is a little weirder since we've heard it's possible that it isn't included in the mosverse, and they seem pretty intent in making that movie happen soon. wouldn't surprise me at all if instead of billy, black adam is on the justice league, which would be pretty cool i think.

I agree with several of your points. One of the biggest problems facing superhero movies is that they tend to follow the same formula, and unless the movie is truly exceptional, they blur together after awhile. As for a solo WW movie, I would be surprised if WB can pull it off, even more so with Gadot in the role. Maybe she will rise to the occasion but it wouldn't be a shock if this is another movie which the studio plans to do, but never actually gets to the big screen.

I'm pretty excited for the TV line-up that DC currently has and the ones that are in the works. We also know that they plan on having a ton of DC movies after BvS. I don't get how any fan could complain about that. I guess, to each their own.

In some ways the studios are in a race, to set up new franchises, which they hope to spin off into successful franchises. As for WB and TV, they get it increasingly right on the small screen and have really dominated that field for some time.

OMG did you just compliment WB?

Guys Zryson complimented WB!

Wow... People under 30 really have no idea what it was like to be a comic book super hero fan between 1978 and 2000 at all, do they? Or realize that this age of adaptations is so new that playing catch up isn't what's happening on the DC side at all. It's about getting things off the ground to exploit properties they own, which is what studios do. It's common sense.

And yes, we went through two years almost of "WB has no plan, waaaahhhh, baby wants his bottle!!" only to now hear and see real concrete movement on DC properties in both feature film AND TV, but now it's "Too much, too soon... It's gonna ruin everything!!"

Fanboys, thy name is forehead slap.

Honestly, TV does nothing for me.

I've only seen the first 2 episodes of Arrow on Netflix and they are terrible. I saw the first 4 episodes of AOS and I gave up on the show. I am only really interested in Constantine but will likely check out Flash and Gotham.

I will say I am 100% interested in Daredevil though because he's one of my favorite Marvel characters and I've been waiting to see him in the MCU since they got the rights back.

When Batman is such a popular and massive franchise unto himself, there is a lot of temptation for a studio to keep going back to the well time and again. But the real test for WB will be whether they can transform B-list, C-list and beyond into A-list material for the big screen.

Holy **** Fox.

Batman V Superman, X-Men Apocalypse, Dr Strange, Cap 3, maybe Shazam, AND NOW DEADPOOL IN 2016?!?!?!??!?!?!?!??!

MY BODY WASN'T READY FOR THAT!!!!

You are breathing. The sky is colored blue. Water is "wet".

Sorry, I thought we were responding to posts with the most obviously apparent information possible.

Expect the unexpected when it comes to the studios battling it out for dollars. Dr Strange could be very cool, in terms of premise. Same with Shazam, hopefully they get a killer script and really nail the characters on screen. As for Deadpool and making a cameo in another movie, that's probably the best way for a studio to try and spin off characters.

WB has 2 DC films, Marvel has 2 MCU films, Fox has 2 X-Men films.

Meanwhile Sony is in the corner with a Sinister Six film nobody wants.

Yes and no. I wasn't really a fan growing up. It's only been in recent years, with the odd comic or even MOS that i've liked the character. I like Superman when he's done a certain way but i dont love the character. Probably never will. I've said this before: Im mainly a Batman fan and it's the only real reason why im even curious about this shared universe.

Exactly. This is a global website after all and has members from many different countries.

Arrow is the best DC live action work right now. It's second season was probably the best season of any superhero show ever.

Superheroes on network television does nothing for me because they'll usually cast B-List or C-List actors and i have no patience for 24 episodes a season. Im spoilt by HBO, AMC, Showtime etc.

If Batman, Suicide Squad or Dark Universe came to a HBO with some better talent involved, and about a dozen episodes per season..i would very excited to see that. But so far that's not happening. The only show i'll even bother to watch 10 minutes from, will be Gotham.

Daredevil is actually the other one that could be great. From what i've heard about it.

Superman and Batman are two of my favorite characters. With Batman, its more because of the Detective angle. The different gadgets he uses, as well as the mindset of the Caped Crusader; his steely determination. With Superman its different. I really like the big-scale adventures, of seeing him hugely powered and the different super-villains he faces off against. Another aspect I really like is when the writers flesh out Clark Kent and there is the question of whether people know his secret identity or not?

Sir, I say this in the most lighthearted way possible, but you're spoiled by your own ignorance.
