The Batman is the bomb! Superman's New 52 suit is not.

Depending on the artist, the new 52 Superman costume can look good but for the most part, I dont like the collar, nor the excessive armor/detailing on the costume. So if the classic costume is returning, its good news indeed.

Everything looks pretty in Jim Lee art. But that suit sucks, no matter who draws it.

So seeing as how Matthew McConaughey is wildly popular right now, how would everyone feel about him getting on the superhero love? I truly think he would make a great Green Arrow. He can pull off the beard, had the athleticism and has the snarky sarcasm down perfectly for Oliver Queen.

That collar is one of the dumbest additions to a suit I have ever seen. Come on now, at least give the man a tie if you're gonna give him a collar.

Out of everyone in the New 52, of course DC would screw over Supes. So many of the other redesigns for the characters look pretty good, but yet even Supergirl looks better than Superman.

What kind of tie?

A bowtie?

or tie tie?

yeah i thought the new Superman suit was generally considered to be one of the worst aspects of the New 52.

I thought the Wonder Woman costume was a nice update, it unified her suit's color scheme for sure. Wonder Woman's classic costume has quite a few prominent colors, red, gold, blue, white, and silver. it's a lot of colors, but the classic suit has always worked. Still, the simplification of the color scheme makes sense and they did it well with the New 52 suit.

The Flash's new 52 suit has too many yellow lines when it's all lit up, but i like the chinstrap, and Manapul's Flash is the probably one of my favorite visual interpretations of Flash period.

Cyborg's suit (minus the way the technology is incorporated into his head) in the comics has never been perfected. i suspect that Snyder/Wilkinson's design for Cyborg will become the definitive look for the character

I personally think Snyder's Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman look better than their New52 counterparts. I've been surprised at how faithful those suits were to the classic looks, i have faith that Cyborg and Aquaman will look equally amazing. Wilkinson has never let me down. I thought all the suits in Watchmen were PERFECT too, and I'm a huge stickler regarding that sort of thing.

It's been said, but one thing we can be sure of is that BvS and Justice League will at least LOOK beautiful. One of the popular complaints about The Avengers is that sometimes it didn't feel cinematic enough, there are people that think Joss Whedon is less of a visual director, and that his strength lies in storytelling. Snyder is the opposite, he's more of a visual director, his primary strength isn't in storytelling. BvS is going to be beautiful and totally cinematic. I have a feeling that Batman v Superman will soon define the modern cinematic blockbuster experience.

So BvS has one of THE BEST visual directors in the business, and now they've hired an Oscar winning screenwriter to improve David Goyer's script. WB seems to be doing everything right. At the very least, I think this will be the most beautiful comic book movie of all time

I've wanted Matthew McConaughey as Hal Jordan for a while. Just think about how perfect he'd be.

Matthew McConaughey as Hal Jordan
Ryan Gosling or Aaron Paul as Barry Allen

MM for Hal would be dope. He was also my choice for Lex. :BA

McConaughey should have been Lex.

Instead, we got Jesse.

I felt like that for about 1 hour after Eisenberg was cast, and then i realized how perfect he'd be after watching some scenes from The Social Network on youtube.

When I saw Jesse as Lex, boy was I ****ing pissed. I saw Irons was Alfred and I felt good because he was my pick but then seeing Jesse as Lex

The dude is undoubtedly perfect for Hal Jordan, just wait for Interstellar, after that, I'm sure he'll be the top fan choice for Hal. He can nail the swagger, the fearlessness, and the Han Solo aspects of the character. We would be damn lucky to get him as Hal.

and as far as Eisenberg goes, I've got complete faith in him, i think he's going to knock it outta the park. I wanted Cranston, but Eisenberg is a totally unexpected choice , i can't wait to see what he does with the role.

I didn't want Affleck at first, i wanted Jon Hamm for Batman, and now i can't imagine a better choice than Affleck.

Hmmm... I'll have to wrap my head around that for a while. I would take him over Reynolds any day, though! As for Aaron Paul as the Flash, I think his personality is perfect. I could totally see it; however, he has kind of a block head that might look really silly in a cowl. Kind of like Kilmer with his eyes so close together in the suit.

N52 Superman's suit reminds me of 90s stuff. I like 90s stuff but it's 2014 and the suit looks ugly.
