I take back what I said about the Kent farm.

Now THAT is a crack house.

:lmao:

One can only dream of what the Batcave under that joint would look like.

"The world's smartest man poses no more threat to me than does it's smartest termite"

Ozymandius was as smart as Bruce and he had no chance.

Did you say mite ? :oldrazz:

Batman wins, as Bat-mite can easily defeat Dr. Manhatten.

All i want from the next Batman movie is to see the Bruce/Dick dynamic explored similar to the way it was handled in Dark Victory and in the Robin's Reckoning episodes of Batman TAS. Anything else is gravy.

It'd make sense if the next villain that hasn't been done recently, or if they went for a villain that we've never seen in live action before. Riddler or Mr. Freeze would be the most obvious choices for the next movie.

A bit too late for that, considering where this Bruce is reportedly at in his career. Though they could always take a page from Dark Knight Rises and push Robin's introduction on the tail-end of Bruce's run.

Whatever the case may be, I really hope Ben gets at least two solo films out. He's so busy now, but I have the sense he really is going to be a revelation as Batman. It would be a shame if he's relegated to a (main) supporting character moving forward.

Where was it implied that, that place would be Wayne Manor?

some amateur photog on twitter that has been getting these pics. he said he also saw a trailer with Alfred on it. (don't they usually put the star's name and not the character on the trailer?)

I don't think it's Wayne Manor

I'm fine with Bruce already having the batfamily. Just so long as Dick Grayson gets adequate flashbacks. For Dick's origin in Robin's Reckoning, it was told in flashbacks, and Dick/Bruce were already clashing then.

I've always thought it'd be cool if Jason is already dead in this universe, and Bruce can be extremely bitter and angry because of that.

If we only get two solo movies...

i want one of them to be an adaptation of The Demon's Head

and i want another one to be a definitive Joker story featuring an Arkham takeover.

I guess not for this movie.

Flashbacks could work, though that would mean a Robin-centric story if they've devoting that much time to him. Which I wouldn't mind, but if we're limited on solo bat-films I'd want that story to be grander than a retelling of Dick's arc.

You aren't sick of the Ghul family? :o

I actually didn't think Ra's or Talia were handled particularly great, but it's too soon to see them again.

Yeah one of these films has to feature Joker. It would be blasphemy not to. In my heart of hearts I want something akin to what was displayed in Timmverse's "Over the Edge" and "Return of the Joker". Stakes that are high and very well mean the end of Batman's career.

Good call on Over the Edge and Return of the Joker being an influence on a future movie. Those episodes were amazing.

That Return of the Joker scene in Arkham... just damn... so good

I just want Dick Grayson to be a big part of the new movies. His origin doesn't have to take up an entire movie. a Court of Owls adaptation could fit in the Dick origin and it'd be in keeping with that storyline.

My heart says the next movie should be devoted to an older villain, but the Court of Owls storyline was seriously amazing and cinematic, it'd be a great movie.

honestly, i wouldn't even be mad if the next Batman movie was a Return of the Joker adaptation.. Batfleck can appear in flashbacks similar to the movie.. It'd still be the Arkham takeover with Joker that I've wanted.

That'd be really fresh... Batman Beyond is basically Batman + Blade Runner
Clint Eastwood as Old Bruce
Ben Affleck as Young Bruce

Yeah that sounds good^

i still think the best way to go is an HBO Batman series. Time Warner owns HBO, if WB wanted to make it happen, they could.

Ah... Just off the dudes girlfriend and he takes 8 years off. Plus... "ANYONE CAN BE THE GODDAMNED BATMAN", at least, that's the word on the street. Or maybe I just feel it in my bones, an' stuff? :oldrazz: :cwink: :woot:
If i hear this false nonsense one more time by a poster im going to literally lose my mind. If you're going to make a funny, do it right, and use some actual facts, not something where it looks like you've never seen the movie.

Didnt Veidt (the Batman of the story) "win" in Watchmen, winning over, or eliminating every other hero? In all seriousness, i think Batman could very well manipulate Manhattan like that.
