And McConaughey isnt going to play Hal. Nor should he outside of being cocky I see nothing in Hal that is anything like MM. I say this as a huge MM fan and a guy who has read hundreds of Hal Jordan/Green Lantern comics.

At least it isnt as bad as the "Seth Rogan for Guy Gardner" suggestion. That literally night be the wort fancasting ever.
Seth Rogen makes perfect sense as Guy Gardner actually. If Seth was in his Observe and Report shape, he could definitely pull off the look. His acting style would suit Guy Gardner too.

Technically, Manhattan can't be killed. And all he needs to do is emit red sun radiation and kersplat.

No matter what Supes does, Manhattan will keep multiplying himself or coming back from nothingness.

I love Supes but I think Manhattan is the only one stronger than him at the same size. (Oh, i forgot that he can change his size too.) :wow:
Talk about overpowered.

The real question is who wins in a three man (technically 4 man?) no holds barred Texas Cage Match: Doctor Solar:Man of the Atom, Dr. Manhattan or Firestorm, The Nuclear Man.
It's a three man way if the question is about the second Nuclear Man. :D

My internet connection was down for a couple hours, I'm back and I check out the last couple of pages in this thread.

The one with Hackman's voice? We don't speak of him... But we do post funny mash ups of him. :cwink:

Yea but Loki is that way in the comic. He not really a fighter per say. He use illusions and trickery to accomplish his goals. Yet look in movie the mange to leave the Avenger broken and disbanded before they came together. Don't forget the fact that he impaled Agent Coulson.

Zod was so bad and pathetic that he had to be rescued from Superman cause he was getting beat down so badly. The only real fight he put up was at the very end of the movie and he should been beating Superman down through most of the movie.

If we put that scene into context we would see that Superman took Zod by surprise and broke his helmet thus giving him a sensory overload. The same thing is used against Faora when she takes a missile to the face and it breaks her helmet.

Manganiello has to grow out his own nails if he wants the role.

I'm sure there is some kind of powder sold at GNC that can help with that. Something called "Cuticle Blaster Complex" or some such. Easy peezy for Joe.

The lead Fancy Ghost should have his monocle on the OTHER side. How can they disrespect the source material like that? That being said... I'm a huge PAM fan. Can't wait. They better cast someone big as Pam's Mom from Indiana.

I can't believe they left Overworked Middleaged Grocery Clerk out of 'Bus People'. I mean he's one of the main team members.

Oh well maybe the sequel. I think Tom Hardy would be an awesome OMGC.

I'm just glad they didn't take a dig at DC.

see, its not always a competition to everyone.

The Death of Overworked Middleaged Grocery Clerk is a seminal story at Marvel. But just like DEMON IN A BOTTLE they probably don't want to go there with the films.

I wonder which villain they're going to use in the first film. There's so many great ones.

The Bag on Seat in Peak Hour Guy
The Super Loud Headphones Playing Crappy Music Girl

Either way they're going to have to build up to the big bad. You can't just introduce Off Her Meds Crazy Old Lady straight off the bat. They'll have to hint at her in the earlier films. Maybe set her up by having her appear as On Her Meds Crazy Old Lady first.

See, I always thought that the retcon of making her On Her Meds Crazy Old Lady before she was Off Her Meds Crazy Old Lady was too on the nose. But for a feature film adaptation you kind of have to build up the audience's sympathy for such a grand, yet tragic villain. They better cast Aubrey Plaza as Super Loud Headphones Playing Crappy Music Girl. It's the part she was born to play.

The thread should be renamed : All things Superman and Batman: A Specific Discussion, so this kind of thing doesn't happen again.
