That take on Joker was really interesting in the GN though, i would use that for the movie. The feminine flirtatiousness is very creepy. and the visuals in the GN were amazing, that Joker is insane looking. I also love the look of Joker in TDKR, if the next Joker looks anything like either of those, i'll be happy.

the Die Hard aspects would be taken from the game. but it doesn't have to be one or the other like you are saying, they can take from the GN and the game. They are different but inspiration can be taken from both.

That's another thing I hope Snyder takes inspiration for if the time comes for Joker to come back to the screen. I loved TDKR Joker, how he and Batman's relationship was sort of sexual in a way was a great way to do it.

I am excited by the possibility that DC might be returning to the universes pre-52. I really hope it happens. But there are lots of questions too - like Batgirl, Nightwing. Clark/Lois. Even Wonder Woman and the Justice League.

I doubt it happens, at best I would say the Pre-Flashpoint universe will be an Earth in the Multiverse. My guess (and I havent been reading the comics just the rumors) is original Brainiac is bottling "Earths" instead of cities and he (or the Anti-Monitor) will reshuffle the deck. They will tweak some timelines but not reset.

They are not going to go back to the convoluted mess that was the old universe. They might bring back elements, or visit that Earth from time to time bu no way they make that the main Earth again especially since sales are still up overall.

I will say this, I am intrigued to read what happens which hasnt been true in a year or so.

The New 52 stuff never bothered me. I only read Batman comics and his universe barely changed.

I'll be shocked if DC reverts back to the previous continuity now. After all the hype and hoopla... to suddenly scrap the New 52 after 3 years would be embarrassing.

3 things got me into comics.

Arkham games (with Asylum, I brought Arkham Asylum and that was my first GN and damn brilliant. With City i thought it was No Man's Land based, a Boarders was going out of business and had like 50-75% off books and I got No Mans Land Vol 1, TDKReturns, and Heart of Hush for like $15. Then City came out around New 52).

New 52. Say what you want, its a great jumping on point for new readers like me.

IGN weekly comic reviews. I'm on IGN and every week they were giving Batman great reviews so I decided to check it out at issue #4 and have only missed 2 isssues since. Also reading a bit of Daredevil and Ultimate Spider-Man. I may subscribe to either Superman or Action but don't know which because both have great teams involved.

There is some event coming next year called Blood Moon. There's been speculation that could be some type of Crisis event or be leading up to it. And chances are, DC (like they do every now and then) will reshuffle the deck, maybe going back to some of the more popular elements (Clark/Lois) but with a twist.

So far I'm down to Superman Unchained (finishing next issue) Future's End weeklies and Constantine. 3 measly books and one is finshing next month while Constantine is nothing compared to Hellblazer.

Granted, I've been reading Dc for years, but mostly Batman. I began reading other series since the new 52, and even though I was already familiar with those characters, I had no diffuclty at all to follow their stories. If you try to read Flash, there is nothing impossible to understand. Same goes for Green arrow for instance. Even Batman is not that difficult, which is quite a feat, considering he didn't have a hard reboot.

Red Lanterns is good.

I don't know which issue but it was during Forever Evil. JLA issue had Martian Manhunter and the female Captain America. Basically J'onn was traveling through numerous JL & JLA minds and some were different. Shazam was destroying everything and fighting everything had the time of his life and everything got rebuild. Superman was searching for the truth on trying to fix the death of Dr Light. Flash was just scared and kept going fast. Baz kept hearing people say stuff about him because he is Middle Eastern and it seems like he caused an explosion killing everything just getting tired of what people said.

These were all dreams kind of. Reminded me that JLTAS episode where J'onn goes through people's minds against Dr Destiny.

the JLA tie-in was interesting, but it went on for too long. It wasn't as great as the JL tie-in imo.

I still don't like what they did to Nightwing in FE but I will say Eternal is doing something I thought I would hate but it seems right in a way and would be interesting.

Which is Jason maybe hooking up with Barbara. Seems like it will go that way in Eternal but it kind of makes sense and would be interesting.
