The Asylum should come out with ripoffs of all three.

Ratman v. Superbman: Rise of Justness
Z-Men: Armageddon
Sergeant Statesman: Revolutionary War

One thing is for sure...2016 is going to be A YEAR that Comic Book Fans will NEVER Forget.

When it comes to history, there has been many years which fans have never forgotten - like when Superman was released. I also know from studying history just what a huge event Batman (89) was - not just the movie itself but the levels of merchandising. 2016 is set to be a big year though. Will be interesting to see what works and what doesnt for Hollywood especially after the lukewarm Summer this year and a number of high-profile projects flopping/under-performing.

Well I don't care about Deadpool and don't give a flying **** about Sinister Six but the rest I'll see.

Looks like I'll be visiting the movie theaters a lot during the spring-summer of 2016.lol, especially when you consider on how many times I'll be rewatching some of those films.haha

By the way, weren't we like promised to get a slate of future DC films that were on its way? Whatever happened to that?

CA:3 civil war. Wow. Just... Wow.

Well played marvel. Well played.

I better start saving up for 2016 now- cuz it's going to a cash strapped summer.

Who promised it?

Precisely. When you read WB's interviews, they talk alot of talk about how they need to get it right, and how they want to do this/that but again very little confirmation. I also think they would be wary after how big a failure GL was in spinning other heroes off (who are not Superman/Batman) into solo ventures since the productions are not cheap (especially when you factor in global marketing/etc.)

With this announcement, WB will magically announce SOMETHING tomorrow to swing the narrative a bit.

The way these superhero movie announcements have been coming. We may be getting the August 2016 date soon.

Maybe not tomorrow or even next week, but I sense the 2nd 2016 DC Comics movie will get officially announced soon. I'm betting on Shazam.

So the news of an Aquaman script being commissioned and Suicide Squad officially having a director and Shazam being made official aren't enough confirmations for movies which are 2+ years away. Even from the Marvel side, we only know Strange is coming after CA3 and then GOTG2, that is all for now. But yeah, it is because WB has no idea at all.

Once again I ask, who promised to released a slate of DC films? WB themselves?

On the Suicide Squad front, they 'want' David Ayer, but don't have him locked in yet. Or at least they didn't when the news broke a few weeks ago.
