A very popular character was added to another character's sequel.
When Marvel does it it's met with applause and cheers and OMG I can't wait.

When WB does it...we get:
WB has no faith in Superman
WB is milking Batman

You can make that more specific.

A very popular billionaire playboy character was added to another character whose costume is red and blue's sequel. The rumored storyline it is based on involves the billionaire character to stare down the other character and beat him. At the end, rumors are that the character in red and blue will die or otherwise be incapacitated and return in the movie where a team of superheroes will face-off against a threat from outer space who may resemble a stony-faced well built character.

When Marvel does it it's met with applause and cheers and OMG I can't wait.

When WB does it...we get:
WB has no faith in Superman
WB is milking Batman
WB is stuffing too many heroes into one movie.

the height thing is really starting to separate the delusional fans from the rational ones

It's not gonna be a huge difference, they're both around the same height and the cowl always makes Batgod look just a little taller

Seriously... the difference is not something important and it doesn't mean what some imply. Superman will be 35 in the films timeline. In other words, a grown assed man. There's nothing Roven said that I object to in the least and I can't see why any of it should worry a single fan. Other than doing the New 52 origin of WW, I have no problems, and even then... I'll live with it.

Having zryson on my ignore list doesn't do me any good if you guys keep quoting him .

Anyway, I'm off to bed. I've had my fill of hypocrisy for one evening.

I find the ignore function works very well. I have a few names on it, and it blocks the posts completely.

I think its more that fans are very protective and passionate about their superheroes. So I think it stems from that.

he's replying to a guy that has him on ignore

I love this guy. My favorite poster at the moment

zryson, don't listen to anyone and their negative comments, keep doing you my man.

I'm doing us both a favor. Believe me.

Actually I do listen to what people say. I always have, and its why I replied to the other member because they were commenting that the ignore function doesnt operate too well, and I think it does.

It's times like these were I miss Tobias. He and Zryson provided some high quality b8.

You can't possibly be this obtuse by nature. This has to be some kind of act.

I never really gave my piece on Wonder Woman's origins in BVS, but I'll just start now:
I dig it.

And that's why he is the sole member on my list.

I am done wasting my time on a perpetual contrarian.

More Batman that was on display at New York comic con

I'll live with it. I don't think the Zeus angle adds much or is all that unique, but the clay origin does both. Not to mention, even if you never see him, Zeus becomes a focal point, and for me the important relationship that Diana has with her mother and the drama and conflict there are what is important to the character. But... Batman wasn't traditionally trained by Ra's Al Ghul either so... Yeah, I'll live with it.

I'm okay with Wondy's backstory or what have you as well. I mean, why not?

BTW, that was kind of you to say Chip. I think all too often in life its easy to take on people's opinions and let them affect you. I see a lot of that in real-life, and on the Internet. People get terribly discouraged if somebody doesnt agree with them, whereas I just listen but might not reply to them.

Well, according to Kristian from SchmoesKnow, fans everywhere would have an up cry about this news because it's straying away from the comics.

I'd prefer the clay origin, myself.

Not about to get up in arms about it, though. Certainly not several years beforehand without having seen a single frame of footage.

Hey, lets just be happy that all the "She can't be magical in the MOS world" band wagoners have egg on their face.

With The Flash being the highest rated CW premiere ever, how long before we get announcements of a Suicide Squad TV show and a Green Lantern TV show? Or even a female superhero in that same universe?

I agree there was a lot anger about the change to WW's origin. I remember quite distinctly when it happened, and public opinion wasnt too supportive of the idea. As to how the film version goes, I think its a work in progress and that it could go either way. BTW, since they are opting for New 52, I hope that doesnt mean we will get a Superman/WW romance.

No problemo z-man, this forum could use more posters like you.

And that's a great way to look at things, at the end of the day some people tend to forget that this is only a message board.
