Though I wish they wouldn't have added black lipstick to Laurel's costumed look. It does not suit her well at all.

I remember Seeing Red. According to me, it was one of the best, if not the best, episode of Season 2. At first, I thought that it was going to be a filler ep but that final scene and the general tone of the ep was like "sayeth what" (HISHE Thor :P). Now that I look back on it, Arrow has really declined in quality from Season 2. It is not because of the lack of focus, it is because the storyline itself has been weak. You had an entire ep focusing on Felicity, one of the best characters on television, and you could only come up with a generic plotline about some obscure boyfriend. Seriously?

However, the worst ep so far has been the Magician. Lots of wasted potential there. I was expecting it to have a bigger payoff. And now, you again have a filler ep about a villainess named Cupid. Somewhere down the line, I think the writers have become a little full of themselves. At this point of time, I remember every ep of season 2 knocking it out of the park. In fact, I actually do not think that there was one single meh ep in Season 2.

Sorry for the long rant. I just want this show to be where it was. The Flash has stolen a lot of its thunder.

Nah, they could do better, Roy's suit is ok, but it has too many unnecessary laces.

Come on, The Magician is easily one of the best episodes this season, it wasn't filler like others, Malcolm played a big part and every time he does, the episodes are usually among the series' best. You were expecting what exactly, more Ra's? Someone getting killed? And the Flash is still very flawed with lame freaks of the week, contrived love triangles and angst a la Smallville, Iris is a Lana/Chloe hybrid, but less interesting, and Eddie has been wasted so far, but they have done a great job with Dr Wells, he's more interesting than all the other characters combined.

Hope this show steps it up again soon. Especially since AoS and Flash are both awesome right now. There's been some cool stuff in this season (laurel is much better, and I love having Roy on the team), but its been a little slow or something. And the flashbacks are kinda boring.

Amy Gumenick actually auditioned for the role of Laurel Lance.

The CW's newest “Arrow” villain has a coming out party on Wednesday's episode of the DC Comics-inspired show, but the actress portraying redheaded bad gal has actually been trying to join the series since the very beginning.
“I auditioned for the show several times,” Amy Gumenick, who debuted as Cupid during the final scene of last week's episode, told TheWrap. “I first auditioned when they were casting the pilot, actually, for Katie Cassidy's role.”
