Why do people still think he'll go to Russia. Every worker on the island this year seems to be Russian...I'm pretty positive it'll be them, well mostly the woman he saved, teaching him russian. And she or another of them will teach him about the russian mob tattoos and whom to contact if he'll ever make it back to Starling to really become part of the mob. Or the whole mob part will be introduced by KGBeast...he's still on the Island isn't he?

it's about his connection to the Russian mob that's why. and he can't have that via the island he' ether have to be in Russia or some other urban area. an island Russian mob with don's etc doesn't make too much sense now does it? lol then again with this show .....

oh and there's was that guy that left the island in the sub after they defeated slade who was russian andhelped take down slade when sara was still around there and he said he'd help oliver out if he ever visited russia too.

Well, I think it was people complaining that he left the island that led to this situation. They really should have started the season with him going to Russia rather than the island.

That being said, he's in semi-regular contact with ARGUS right now. When he's rescued, that has ended. It makes some sense for him to leave the island to sever his ties to ARGUS. I'd rather he do it this season than next season (keep him on the island most of next season).

yes it is the island being where he meets every thing makes not sense if super man and martian manhunter were allowed on the show and he met them there it'd be too much . yeah even met alien on the island and this why I did that ran joe every thing is really on the island even star city and oliver never truly left . it is indeed ridiculous

you know I've only ever seen one poster complain about that ones on this forum and that person was someone I don't notice too often that isn't a regular un like us. I don't oliver was suppose to be back onthe island not that way or in contact with them.

it just ended up that way this season in staying in contact cause he was forced to there yet again.

we're just supposed to see him start out as the vigilanty and may head to russia and many other citys hone few other skills that waller didn't teach to him. he already had his fill with Argus and waller and we know why, he wanted to kill her as he told diggle and every other argus operative assasin and different suicide squad or worker seem to want to do that to all people in charge at argus be they Waller or any of those crazy generals that work along side her.

He will probably be just be on the island for a few episode in season 5 FB it not ridiculous. We know Waller dump him there so this will be the last full season on island before Russia

If it gets to season 5, we should just get flashbacks of season 1.

I already can't wait to see how the S5 flashbacks lead up to Season 1 when the Oliver that in the flashbacks doesn't seem to interested in getting home to Laurel.

well the oliver that left on the yacht already had his fun with her. So she was already forgotten sadly and he had the sister to play with. lol if the Lance family had as many sisters as the kardashian's, you can bet pre island oliver would have made his way alot of them.

technically if captain Lance manages to marry momma smoke, that'll make Felicity sorta a Lance as well, "sorta" and old pre island Oliver will have big smile on his face showing up behind current day oliver.

I would love it if in S5, both present and flashback, his affections were to slowly shift back to Laurel. If not in a romantic way in present, then at least in a meaningful-friendship way that they're really kind of missing right now. I mean, they're better off than they were in S2, for sure, but they're still a bit frosty. Frostier than Black Canary and Green Arrow should ever be. I miss S1 Lauriver.

Basically in S2, when Laurel said "Tommy died and I want to honor him so I can't date you."

pretty much plus there's other reason's . so just leave it as it is . the animated movies and video game area's you'll likely seem them together though.

You really expect them to stick to something they wrote 2-3 seasons ago? They have clearly shown that they either don't care or don't remember what they do or setup in previous episodes/seasons. Especially episodes deeper in the past. As this show ages I'm sure they'll open it up for Oliver and Laurel to be a thing, at least a very on and off thing. Felicity, and the baggage she carries with her (potential feelings for Ray still, her god awful hooters mom) make her expendable imo.
