Nice. I wonder what villain will they use? All of the villains have either been mentioned or have appeared in the season previous to the one in which they were the big bad. Will next seasons villain be mentioned this season or make an appearance, or will we have to wait until next season (or the summer) to find out?

I don't know about villains. But a potential storyline is adapting "The Outsider Wars" from the Green arrow new 52

This season is definitely worse than Season 3. Season 3 still had that old Arrow charm.

Season 5....Please no Olicity crap. No more forced Felicity on our screens.
I want the show to be dark and gritty again.

Bring Lady Shiva as the big bad. And bring back Slade.

It just really shows their lack of confidence at the moment with the product. It's weird because 4 years ago, I would have said a show about the Green Arrow wouldn't be very good, and I'm sure many people were surprised by how good it was and how Oliver didn't seem like a Bruce Wayne or Batman copy cat. But then two years later, that's what the show ending up becoming. And now, they're so intent on keeping the loudest group of fans happy, but completely alienating everyone else.

Interesting. I'd love it if he went back to a re-curve. His first bow was so cool and IMO his current bow is just a bit too bulky. I think it worked well with his S2 costume, which was a bit bulkier than his S4 costume, but since his S4 costume is more stripped down (no sleeves, narrower hood, etc.), a smaller or narrower bow would be good.

I think Stephen wants the Recurve bow as he said he do not like the compound bow. Perhaps he will for season 5! it would be a bit closer to his comic counterpart

He can't shoot them in the knees or shoulders? Barely uses the bow these days. Might as well not even have it.

I was so sad when Merlyn broke it. Although there was some symbolism in him fighting Merlyn with Yao Fei's bow (speaking of, he still has that, right?).

Okay, I don't get why this idea persists even in forums dedicated to talking about Arrow.

Yao Fei used the bow that was broken by Merlyn. The other bow, the one Oliver used to fight Merlyn on the rooftop of Merlyn Global, was the one he found in the container in the remnants of Fyers camp, which he then used to kill Fyers. The next time we saw it in the flashbacks, Shado was using it.

Black bow used to fight Merlyn on the rooftop: Shado's.

Brown recurve bow w/brass knuckle grip used for most of Season 1: Yao Fei's.

Sorry for using your post as a jumping off point, and I don't mean it to sound like an attack. I've just constantly seen this misconception and I've been wondering how people who discuss the show down to minute details are missing something so obvious.

*blinks* At second glance, I'm not sure if you meant seeing him fight Merlyn with the recurve was nice symbolism and were referring to the broken pieces. If that's the case, my bad. I've just seen a lot of people saying the black bow Shado used in Season 2 and which Oliver has been using in flashbacks is Yao Fei's....

Only positive thing we heard from the event is Nyssa, and Sara will be together again, and we will see sara again on Arrow.

I hope Sara doesn't show up on Arrow, Arrow is a shippers show now. I'm dropping Arrow after 4x19 if they kill of Laurel.
