I hope that's the case

I honestly dont get why everyone (even screenrant !!!) are saying that is prometheus ... its not an original character either
its bloddy ragman
If only MG hadn't wasted and butchered the likes of Brick and Count Veritgo. They would have been perfect villains for this season as its main villains.
I mean, they are both still around. They've obviously not going to be full-season villains, but either of them could appear at basically any point. It would be a waste not to see them again. Especially since this Tobias Church guy is apparently going to take over Darhk's power base, which included Brick (though I believe he's in jail again).
Well even though they still exist, it's such piss poor interpretations of them that's also the issue. Brick is a white non-metahuman here while the Count is a simple drug dealer with a Russian ascent.
Brick's and Vertigo's depictions in Arrow are both in-line with the show's tradition of "normalizing" characters that continued up until the Lazarus Pits were introduced and magic became mainstream for the show. When these two were introduced, to see a metahuman was extremely rare outside of Flash crossovers, and magic hadn't been introduced yet. So making them normal isn't the issue. The weakness of their depictions is. Brick started out great (he even apparently took a headshot from Diggle and survived), but in S4 he was little more than a henchman. And the first Count was definitely more enjoyable than the S3 one, IMO.
The Count part of Vertigo's comic identity wouldn't have been hard, IMO; his powers are another story. I guess the idea of him using drugs rather than having actual vertigo powers was their inventive way of using his trademark. I honestly do think they could have found a way to keep his background as nobility, though. But it doesn't bug me that they didn't too much.
No Olicity Reunion On Arrow In Near Future
After two years of Oliver and Felicity's relationship being a major plot driver on The CW's Arrow, showrunner Wendy Mericle told TVLine recently that Season Five will downplay that aspect of the series.
The reason isn't any conflict between the characters or even a storytelling reason like putting off the assumed "endgame" of the pair ending up together. Instead, it's the nuts and bolts of Team Arrow at this moment in time that's standing in the way of a reunion.
Theyre both in crisis mode. Olivers got two really big jobs, and [Felicity] is spinning out about Havenrock, Mericle said. Until theyve gotten some clarity for themselves, theres not much room for the relationship side of things.
Started to re-watch season 1 and I miss that Oliver/Arrow. I honestly think he worked better solo too. I think Roy, Dig and eventually Laurel should have joined him only occasionally.
Season 1 was pretty much an entirely different show from what it is now, action focused, Oliver generally handled things on his own, stronger season narrative, supporting characters generally didn't take priority over the season's actual plot unless it directly involved them.

I really liked Roy and Diggle.
Everybody else is just too much.
I imagine this will make a lot of people happy.

Never forget that they tricked a lot of fans in season 1-2, hiding their intentions of doing Olicity. So be careful everyone when going into the season.

What in the DCEU has received mainly praise like Manu's Slade? Not many characters, that is for sure. Adams, Irons, Margot and Will are some of the few that have not received much criticism and have received praise. Not much else.
