They invited just about anyone who has ever been on the show which is very nice of them. Though it would be great if they paid attention to the smaller characters on the show (those kinds of episodes are always a delight)

I swear, i dont think I've veer had this much of a love/ hate relationship with a show before. Every time i think I'm done with this it pulls me back in. I'm really liking this season so far and feel its the most compelling out of all the Berlanti shows. But this was how I felt last season too, I loved all of the pre-winter break episodes and then....

Just out of curiosity, do you guys see Felicity as a salvageable character? Or has her reputation been permanently damaged as a result of the last two seasons for you?

I haven't noticed much complaints about Felicity this season, so it seems she is salvageable.

I like her better this season, but I used to looooooooveeeeeeee Felicity. Now, I can only tolerate her.

The only thing intolerable with her last season was the entirely artificial and forced "Ollie's son" plotline. As long as the writers don't decide to use her as a cheap drama factory again, she's fine.

You know, the thing that I don't get is why is "killing" such a big deal for some of the members in Team Arrow when two of their members use lethal firearms in combating against their enemies? Wild Hog and Spartan both use regular guns (not stun guns) in the field.

THANK YOU! I thought I was the only one scratching his head about that

What annoys me is the internal logic of the show: They make a big deal about Oliver killing and him being a murderer in season 1, just to progress towards non-lethal, more heroic ways (yays Green Arrow!) and every now and then they make a big deal about how killing is crossing the line and going down that dark path, yet, they make no effort (except every now and then) to show that those arrows stuck in thugs are "non-lethal" shots (I know, I know) or tranq arrows or whatever, and as you say, Spartan and Wilddog use guns and seem to be randomly just killing people (Spartan has a fancy gun, but since no explanation was given about it, we have to assume it uses regular bullets).

The worst part for me is, taking it back to the internal logic of the show, the support by SCPD and City Hall; the Hood was a wanted murderer, of course, and when the Green Arrow took over with his non-lethal ways, it'd make sense for the SCPD to work with him, but aren't his associates leaving a body trail behind them...?? And honest, it seems like him too...

I know it might be a moot point, it just really annoys me...

Next week’s episode of Arrow, “Human Target,” is also said to be [BLACKOUT]“The One Where Oliver Finds Out That Felicity And Detective Malone Are Dating.” Many are expecting that will mean Tyler Ritter’s character will get a sharp arrow to the knee for that… at the 100th episode “green carpet” for Arrow last weekend, we asked Executive Producer Wendy Mericle and actor Stephen Amell (Oliver) about how that breaks down, and if Malone should be scared of Oliver’s reaction.[/BLACKOUT]

[BLACKOUT]“I think Oliver and Felicity have evolved to a place where they’re going to be okay about that, but I think Detective Malone is moving into some dangerous territory in other ways, so we’ll see what happens,” Mericle teased.[/BLACKOUT]

[BLACKOUT]Stephen had something similar to say. “Detective Malone should not be afraid of Oliver. Detective Malone should be afraid of his connection to Felicity,” he said.[/BLACKOUT]

As for an “Olicity” reconciliation, Stephen told us “you’re either romantically involved or you’re not.”

“Oliver and Felicity, in my mind, are reconciled. Everything’s on the same page with them. Everything’s on the table. They’re just not together,” he said.

Kind of silly they can't use a Green Lantern.
As I said months ago, use Hal in the FLARROWVERSE and Stewert or Gardner or Rayner in the movies.

I don't think the problem is in the name of the Green Lantern they use. From what I have heard they can't afford the special effects to do a proper Green Lantern. If the name were the only problem they could always use
someone like Jong Li, Waverly Sayre, Daniel Young, Chaselon, Jack T. Chance, Tomar-Tu, Bloobert Cob, or any of the dozens of other Green Lanterns that aren't likely to end up in a movie version. The CW has no problem
digging up obscure comic book character names to use on their shows, like Felicity Smoak or Snapper Carr. So one of the lesser known Green Lanterns would be an option if the name were the problem.

Greg Berlanti on Olicity, ''I can't imagine there's anyone who can replace each other in their lives.''

Time to stop being optimistic for Arrow, it's always going to go back to that Olicity crap. Berlanti is same as Guggenheim, sadly.

As far as I've seen, there are only two relationships that have been done right and presented as healthy ones in the arrowverse: Lyla and Diggs/Clark and Lois.

Dr and Mrs Stein
Henry and Nora Allen (Earth 1, before they're killed)
Henry and Nora Allen (Earth 90s Flash)
Eddie Thawne and Iris West (before Eddie's death)
Barry Allen and Iris West (this season, anyway... so far)
Paul and Curtis Holt
Ronnie Raymond and Caitlin Snow (before Ronnie's death)
Ray Palmer and Anna Loring (before her death)
David Singh and his fiancee Rob

Clark and Lois's relationship has been done right and presented as healthy in the Arrowverse? Lois hasn't appeared in the Arrowverse.

Arrow’s Stephen Amell says that the entire crossover, which will take place over the course of four nights, is like a really long movie.

“It was really cool. We had our individual scenes, but then we had scenes where there were like 20 superheroes there in this big airplane hangar. And it looked like and felt like — and I think the fans will feel like — this is a big 3-4 hour movie that we are putting on.”

So who's the masked guy in the preview for Human Target? The design got my attention.

http://variety.com/2016/tv/news/juliana-harkavy-arrow-cast-walking-dead-1201906144/

Juliana Harkavy (“The Walking Dead,” “Constantine”) is joining CW’s “Arrow.”

Harkavy will have a recurring role as Tina Boland, a detective formerly of Central City. Boland is brash yet tactful, tough, speaks her mind, and is not the easiest person to impress. She also has a problem with vigilantes like Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) and his new team of recruits: Wild Dog (Rick Gonzalez), Artemis (Madison McLaughlin), Curtis Holt (Echo Kellum), and Ragman (Joe Dinicol). Harkavy’s character will join in the back half of the season.

Well, Laurel's dead so who would "replace Felicity" in Oliver's life anyway? It's not ideal but at this point it's what we're going to get. The thing is, Olicity doesn't necessarily have to be bad. It's just that the way MG and WM have taken them, they're bad. Under superior writers, I think Olicity wouldn't be that bad, and certainly wouldn't make the mess that it has thus far. So no, I don't think Berlanti is "the same as Guggenheim," I just think he's speaking out of the idea that Laurel's gone so really, there isn't anybody who could replace Felicity.
