I really hope that Roy and Merlyn suiting up every time Thea has a date becomes a recurring event.
lol I don't that will be disturbing seeing your Ex knocked up by the next possible D bag that'll be.... no it's weird already

Well,I have to say I really enjoyed that episode. I think the writing was much stronger than it's been. I was going to give it a 10 for the first 30 minutes or so,but there was some niggling things that would probably bump this down from a perfect score, but I'll give it a solid 9.5

Thea finally knows...and she reacted like any normal person would! Imagine that! She finally understands why Ollie has acted like a "flake" with all these big bad secrets she's been resenting. It was refreshing to actually feel like the sensible thing was being done for a change.

I think Quinton being the illusion was actually more poignant than Sara, but Sara felt like she was there mostly for Laurel to mix it up with someone. It was nice seeing Caity one more time. It's good that her last scene "made peace" with Laurel. At this point we really don't need to go back and be continually reminded what we're losing with Lotz off the show. "I didn't have to die." Seems like they had her speak for many in the audience. :csad:

Quinton finally finds out.Well acted by both he and Katie. I can honestly understand the point of keeping it from him,but it's obvious it's been going on far too long. Wonder what the ramifications will be.

I'm not sure I fully buy Thea's sudden turn against Malcolm. I mean, I don't think she was ever fully in his pocket, but it seemed a bit abrupt. (Well, this is Thea we're talking about after all)

I was a bit iffy on Roy and the team "standing up" to Oliver. It's not that it didn't play, but like most of the season, it felt like there was a better time and place for that conversation.

Vertigo was...alright. Seems we traded "Joker-lite" for "Khan-lite" as far as the show's Vertigos are concerned. At the end of the day he's still just a drug dealer, nothing particularly special about him.

I really hated Thea going off with DJ D-bag. It could've been handled better, since I don't really see why she isn't with Roy anymore. It seems like they've been cool for a long time now. I get she wanted something "simple", but it seems another contrivance that she and Roy are apart purely for the sake of it. Roy showing up to save her was quite nice.

The flashbacks:......Eh, I'm getting sick of the "missed it by that much" routine. I just want Ollie back on the island for the next two seasons. Hopefully they wrap up this season with him back on the island....far away from Waller.

So, next week looks like it's going to be "mask free" Arrow again.:csad: At least Slade will be there....

RIP DJ Nanda Parbeatz.

Really, though, this was a good episode, especially after last week's dud.

Good episode and everybody had their moments to shine. I loved the Laurel and Felicity moment. Those two are totally going to be BFF's one day, drinking one night, and talking about Oliver.

During the fire in the lab I was thinking..."It sure would've been handy if..oh, I dunno...Cisco might have made some 'Frost Arrows' to put out fires...." :woot:

well I hope thea finds another dj that isn't D-bag to make the club money or other musical acts like actual singers or bands . well the clubs will be close for a bit

I think that's Caitlin's department. :o

I felt like Thea just saw red when she found out that Malcolm knew about her brother being Arrow this entire time and him telling her that there is no one that she can trust or whatever. The gears starting turning in her head after that.

And Katie Cassidy was the MVP of this episode, she brought her A-game.

oh that was the reason she said "she didn't trust" him in the arrow lair has be talking behind Malcolm's back suddenly? cause it was odd. I was going where did the Stockholm go to? I thought Ras took her body over . but this problem show up in later parts of small ville.

Quote of the episode:
"The girl...you know..with the 'boy hair.'"

:lmao:

Honestly Thea's character/mood swings are so abrupt and extreme that I've pretty much given up on them ever consistently writing her like an actual human being.

I agree, Thea felt deceived because Oliver finally opened up to her about everything he's been for the last 3 years, but not only did Malcolm know, he hid it from Thea after saying he'd always be honest. Granted, its not his secret to tell, but he did try to pull her away from Oliver.

How about that scene when Lance found out Sara was dead, man Paul brought it. Diggle talk's with Ollie was spot on, I wish I remembered the line but at the time I thought it was spot on.

I was sat here waiting thoughout the entire episode waiting for the twist of Thea already knowing and her lack of a reaction when she was told about Oliver was part of the plan Malcolm was playing out with her and Oliver. Her reaction felt too...calm, it felt like they were setting up a twist Glad that it never happened (Unless it's still to come).

Final-****ing-ly.... That goddamn 'Quinten will die when Laurel tells him' ******** Laurel was obsessed about is over.... And look! He didn't die (even though they're really laying it on thick that he will sooner than later).... Did we have to have Laurel pulling the ******** move of tricking her father if this was just going to be resolved so soon and simply?

And the DJ story is over already... Far quicker than I expected... And we're they trying to set up Roy and Thea again near the end?

I really liked the Laurel arc in the episode (no, really... I did!). Apart from the obvious use of a bloke as a stunt stand in for some of the Canary/Canary fights, Laurel's arc was well done.

Diggle is still being short changed here.... We need more of him TBH.

This episode was refreshingly on point. Despite a couple 180s (cough-Roy-cough), I actually like where everyone is at. Thea has been enjoyable for the first time since the end of season 2. Felicity and Laurel have continued their perfect streaks. Colton Haynes is finally given a chance to act, and does well though he struggles with some of the Malcom material.
I enjoyed the Count more this time and liked the Laurel/Sara scenes. The jury is still out until we see how Quentin responded to Laurel lying. Right now, they are both caught up in the moment of grief so I will refrain from passing judgement on the writers.

Yep, had me fighting back the tears, I don't mind saying.:waa:

Yes! Quentin is the f'n man. I love how well he's written even when he doesn't have much to do with the main plot.

Agreed. I sure hope he isn't killed. The show really needs him.

Laughed at Felicity being all mad and telling Ollie he can't just come in and question peoples choices. That's pretty much all she seems to do these days.

I wouldn't call it resolved so simply. It will have its ramifications, Im sure. Q isn't going to be all happy go lucky next time we see him.

So Malcolm and Roy were just hanging around outside that whole time Thea was banging the DJ? :lmao:

Slightly rushed episode but solid. Good interactions between characters than don't interact enough lately. Also, the reveal to Thea was pretty awesome outside of her blind hatred to Merlyn... love that DJ Dork died so soon. LOA sure love to sleep with their enemy, cough Talia cough.

Hope this reveal brings a new feel, some good comedy now. The 'He's more your's than mine" was funny.

Probably my favorite episode of the season, so many moves this episode that pushed the season's story in the right direction, Quentin finds out about Sara and Laurel, Thea finds out Oliver's the Arrow and comes to her senses regarding Malcolm, the DJ gets killed off, and a great passing of the torch from Lotz to Cassidy.

So now we have 2 major secrets out of the way. Only one left is Thea/Laurel finding out about who really killed Sara and why.
