I dont think there is a plan. I think they let their writers do whatever they want. Honestly does anyone think the best possible story for the X-men is to have the original team come forward in time????
This is the perfect time to right the ship and bring the X-men back to its core concept. Instead we get yet more time displaced mutants.

It'll probably go on this way until the powers that be change hands to someone who actually cares about continuity, characterization, and doesn't default to heroes hitting each other for cheap publicity.

Really, because I think he's been mostly invisible. He had one kinda big moment in Second Coming and brought Kitty's bullet back to Earth but other than that he looks like a weak old man. I want him to go back to being either A) a villain or B) hitting the road with Xavier in a book of their own.

He's probably some new creation of Bendis. I'm a little skeptical about this cover though. I thought for sure Emma was dying at the end of AvX and Scott's costume nowhere nearly looks like the one Quesada drew for the NOW promo. It's like Marvel is making this s**t up as they go along.

If Cyke and Emma are both surviving the event then the fatality must be Hope, who I dont think has shown up on any post-AvX stuff. God I hope Cyke's team aren't going to be super villains...

It does seem like it's Xavier, Namor, and Colossus who are still on the potential death list
But Petey was only resurrected not too long ago, so I think he may just go off to deal with his "possesed by a number of evil entities" problem

One of the few good things Claremont has done in the last decade. Too bad Marvel cancelled it after a year. It should have remained after HoM, following both men as they adjust to becoming humans
