Oh man, I loved Excalibur so much. But then Bendis wrote House of M, so Marvel had to can it because its premise didn't mesh well with Decimation.

Bendis: Indirectly ruining the X-Men franchise since 2006. Looking forward to the new book, Brian.

So can Warren just switch between feather wings and metal wings at will now? How the f*** does that work?

He was able to control his persona's but during the Dark Angel Saga in UXF, he was stabbed with a life seed and has been reborn as a younger version of himself with metal wings and a stronger healing ability. He brought a puppy back from the dead in WATXM. Only a matter of time before he starts doing it to humans.

Oh, okay, so his wings are permanently metal again. I don't really care about the other stuff, it just seemed really stupid that he'd shed his feather wings and grow metal ones and vice-versa whenever he wanted.

It wasn't really whenever per say. It started out as being used in certain volatile situations and Wolverine would tell him to make the change. Eventually he lost himself in it and became the new Apocalypse.

Yeah, I don't care about any of that. I'm talking about just the purely biological improbability of being able to shed massive feather wings and grow massive metal ones at a moment's notice, then shed those massive metal ones and instantly re-grow massive feather ones at another moment's notice. I know he's got a healing factor now, but damn. When they did it the first time, it was a really big deal, and then when they had his metal wings come apart to reveal new feather wings, that was a big deal too.

Biological improbabilities in comics? Come on bro. :oldrazz:

He was realistic enough for a whole s***load of real people to believe in him for centuries. :oldrazz:

Yep. Just goes to show, people will worship the hell out of you if you've got a good beard.

George lucas' beard is held up by his giant double chin.:o

Speaking of biological impossibilities, doesn't damian have an artificial spine?

Spoilers I guess, just in case: [BLACKOUT]My guess is it's Hope[/BLACKOUT].

That was my initial reaction as well ^^

It's wanda. This way the avengers can save the day.

Is Wanda really supposed to be a redhead??
Somebody said that earlier, but I always just thought she was a brunette....

The phoenix eats planets. Changing hair color should be easy by comparison.

It's supposed to be reddish brown. Not as red as Jean's or Mary-Jane's, but slightly reddish. Most colorists forget that and make her hair straight-up brown, putting Wanda in the Club of Forgotten Gingers along with Dazzler.
