Dazzler's a Ginger?!?

Oh man, you just blew my friggin mind...
Everything I thought I knew is wrong!!

lol

Banshee and Siryn are also strawberry blonde, but colorists make their hair red nowadays. Back in the 80's, all three characters had orange hair.

I'd assume its her. The body looks too young and slender to be the "obvious" choice.

If they showed the face in that promo pic, there would still be no way of knowing whether or not it was Hope or Jean. That's how similar they are. If it is Hope, than they've given up on making her a real character and given her every ounce of what made Jean Grey iconic. Laaaaaazy.

Is Wanda really supposed to be a redhead??
Somebody said that earlier, but I always just thought she was a brunette....

Heck in the early Avengers days, it used to be black

Probably for the best. There were a few tmes in the 90s where she and Jean looked exactly alike

^ I know people hail Onslaught as the cause of the comic crash of the 90s and the reasons they stopped reading X-Men....but I liked it. :oldrazz: Maybe it's because I never read it until a couple years ago.

I read it when it was just coming out and I friggin loved the Onslaught story. From start to finish it was super fun, and a nice way to call back to Fatal Attractions.

Yeah I thought Onslaught was pretty epic.
Granted I was only like 10 at the time...
But it was "Heroes Reborn" and all that nonsense that left a bad taste in everyone's mouths
I thought the heroes sacrificing themselves was amazing, and sad, and made me wanna be a better person.
And Xavier made a great bad guy, IMO
But then they all went and ruined it

To this day Onslaught is still one of my favorite stories in all of comics. I've not heard a whole lot of complaining about it other than the huge amount of tie-ins... which we're all used to these days.

Yeah I read all the tie-ins my first time reading it, pretty much were pointless. Second time I just stuck with the X-Mens and I enjoyed it still.

Onslaught > AvX

Seriously though, Onslaught wasn't all that bad. It was the first major crossover involving Avengers, X-Men and the FF in a long while when it came out so it was exciting. It think it's weaknesses stemmed from Waid and Lobdell not getting along while writing it.

Some were pointless but most weren't. All the Phase 1 tie-ins were important (save Excalibur). Most of the Phase 2s were important as well save a few of the non X-titles like Punisher, Hulk, and Spider-Man. Most were good though. The second Avengers sucked because of how badly Holocaust was written.

I liked it better back then before I knew who any of the writers were or the crap going on behind the scenes. I wish I could get back to that.

I also loved Onslaught. It was a great story that was brewing for quite some time and it had good art. I loved how the Xmen, Avengers and FF mixed it up in that story

Also at the time, Onslaught himself was a pretty badass idea for a villain with a good design. But since then he has gone through the writer machine like all other characters....

He was a threat, an actual real threat and I loved the Xavier twist. I also loved how Onslaught set the stage for OZT, which was the last great crossover of the 90s for me. Onslaught really screwed things up for mutants which allowed for Bastion to rise to power and make things even worse. I loved when the X-men were broke and had nothing. Things werent easy and convenient for them

They tried to do the Onslaught crossover like they did Fall of the Mutants or Inferno without a separate series like we are used to today. If Onslaught was it's own event title instead of the Phase/Impact 1 and 2 books it probably would have worked out a little better.

I thought Onslaught was fine the way it was. The only books you really needed to follow were Uncanny, X-men, Avengers and FF. The story worked well just going between those 4 books. Everything else was extra but not really necesary to understand the main plot

I liked that Thor was instrumental in both Onslaught's destruction and the heroes' return. :)

Yeah, when you look at that scene it makes you realize how much of a farce AvX has been.
