Would you like to see Nolan's Batman gradually evolve into something similar (but not quite as over the top) to Morrison's Bat-God?

That's not really characterization, that's skill-set and abilities.

I hope Batman shoots lightning out of his finger tips.

The only reason Batman is Bat-God in the comics is so he can keep up with all the superpowered characters, so there's no need for it in the Nolan movies.

We already saw a peek at Bat-God in Nolan's movies.

That's enough for me.

Depends on what you mean by Bat-God. It has to be believable/down to Earth, that's my only strong condition.

He could stand to be cleverer and form great strategies, but not in a corny and over the top way.. Infact I think Nolan's Batman has made a couple of quiet steps toward this sort of direction. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw him apply it hardcore in Batman 3 because of his situation with the police and public. He'll have to learn to devise these sorts of failsafes and do his homework more deeply in order to survive the storm.

What exactly is this "Bat-God" thingie? Is it Batman's interpretation by Morrison the latest years? My googling didn't clear anything out.

A full-fledged Bat-god is not only absurd but it's also kind of a weak characterization. There's not much room for drama, tension, or arc when Batman can overcome anything without a sweat. That said the prep-time stuff can be used in a less ridiculous and overbearing way and it could be pretty awesome, and we've already seen some of it: the giant bat-sonar device that Batman constructs and rigs to all the cell-phones in Gotham right under Lucius' nose. It's about weaving it in to Bruce's growth as a character, his maturity as a crime fighter.

not to that extreme but batman should definitely show of some mad critical thinking skills in the next movie.

I'd prefer Chris Nolan just quit making Batman movies, and Grant Morrison quit writing Batman comic books.

get riddley scott on Batman, and gaiman on a few Batman books, then we're in business.:awesome:

Apologies in advance for the multiple posts, but I have a few questions:

1.) why cant i start a new thread? Is this luxury reserved for vertern hypesters, or what??

2.) Why is the word comic books underlined and colored green in my previous post?

3.) How does one make avatars. Any help with that?

The answer to #1 and 3 are in my signature.

The answer to #2 is....advertising pays the bills.
