So, I changed the Avengers clan tag to 'HYPE' Also, considering changing the title to 'Hype Avengers'.... What do you reckon, change it or keep it as is?

DICE should be ashamed. These are the worst servers in any game iv ever played. A full week later and they are still effed. Pathetic.

I frickin' love the bipod. I'm a total beast with it, especially with the M249. It's great for defending capture points or MCOM stations, though it's a little less useful on some maps (Firestorm comes to mind). On those long-range style maps I just use the foregrip.

Yesterday I put the nightvision scope on my M249 with a bipod on Operation Metro and I was annihilating fools. They would keep trying to sneak up on me but my nightvision made their sneak attempts useless. It was great.

Yea, I like the bipod too. Only really played the support class.
Shotguns are fun but seem pretty useless on the majority of maps. :/ I think the game would have benifited from more choke points.

I'm telling you man, the other servers are largely fine. I think you're limiting the availability of good servers when you put too many search limitations on them, and there simply might not be a huge demand for hardcore (or in fact, most people just might not even know it's there)

I bet your team won by at least 150 tickets on Op Metro didn't they? That map is terrible.

I think it's great for RUSH but yeah it's quite horrible for CQ. I find that basically anytime I start at "A" in CQ my team pretty much guaranteed loses. It's so much easier to capture "B" when you're coming from the "C" spawn.

I wish I had more use for shotguns. Since the maps are so big, it'd be nice to give the shotguns a bit more of a buff. As it is, they're only really useful on maps like Bazaar and Metro. And even there, I find they don't have enough range to be really useful.


As for the servers, I dunno why you're having problems Pat. I've had very few server/connection issues.

I have to side with pat on the server issue. I get kicked out of a game at random times. I can deal with it but I was hoping for GOW3 level smoothness.

The only thing i limit myself to is hardcore because i dont want to play that trash standard mode. Its for less skilled players, I'm sorry, but i gotta call a spade a spade. DICE's servers are HORRIBLY inconsistent. One time i can find plenty of matches to join, the next not a single match shows up. Its quite annoying. For a game release this big, they shouldn't of had these problems. I bet Modern Warfare 3 won't have these issues.

Yea its just another example as to why they needed a real beta. Had they of had one they would of realized that was a terribly designed map. EPIC was able to change one of their maps because their beta showed it was poorly designed.


I was finally able to find some matches, had no problems for about 10 matches then got kicked out, then no servers popped up when i went to search. Like i said, inconsistent. Hopefully that patch tomorrow will address these issues.

Shotguns are fantastic in TDM. Also a great playlist to knock out all weapon ribbons lol, the spawns are so bad I scored the melee ribbon in under a minute.

Well as it's been said, that's not everyone here's experience and you're the only one that seems to be playing Hardcore so I'd say that's the variable. And hey, just because I'm clearly and unskilled trash lover, doesn't mean I don't have feelings!

try switching teams mid-game, if there is room.

The team aspect is really dissapointing. It's great you can spawn with them and get rewards for giving packs and stuff. But people seem to very rarely run out of ammo for most part and usually are within a fire-fight area making a res kinda pointless alot of the time. Too much emphasis on unlocking crap. Also no commander, that along with the scale and vehicals was one of the things that made Battlefield stand out from the crowd. Now it's XP collecting.

Iv never cared about unlocks. I mean as far as I'm concerned I'm done. Iv got all the weapons id want to use and I'm only a level 16. I NEVER use a weapon just to unlock something. I doubt ill ever gain another XP level in the recon class as i never use it.

It seems to me like you can easily hit max level without unlocking every weapon mod anyway. So, for me, it's mostly about finding a weapon that I enjoy rather than unlocking mods for weapons I hate (SCAR, I'm looking at you...).
