I agree but sales wise they wouldn't do that.
Why not just make it Co-OP? At least then the mind numbing wack-a-mole would probably be less boring with a freind.

Yea i could see that.

I just dont see why they dont cut it out. I mean i highly doubt anyone is getting pumped up for this because they wanna check out that story. I mean would they really lose that many sales from a lack of SP?

Graphics, fantastic, AI, stupid as rock. Pre-rendered cut-scenes annoying.

I wonder when another developer is going to understand why Halo is so popular. It's because of the options. Online play, tons of game modes, split screen multiplayer, co-op, system link (multiple persons per console)

It's what every FPS with online modes should follow.

I would never dream of playing a game and missing out the SP! (even though the Bad Company 2 campaign was pretty bad)

'Traditionalists' must make up a big enough minority for developers to continue with SP as even the Call of Duty games which are known for MP above all else have yet to ditch (or even spend low on) their SP campaign.

Wack-a-mole lol! I know what you mean but this kind of relatively simple & restricted gameplay is preferred by a section of people who only have a small amount of time to dedicate to gaming. They still pay the same price for the game as a guy who puts in 500 hours on a free-roam open-world campaign game or plays MP 24/7 for a year. Co-op makes everything better though

Not at all. It's optional because not every 360 SKU comes with a hard drive, so Microsoft can not allow any mandatory installs.

It is part of the mandatory PS3 install.

From what I played of Co-OP it was pretty basic defend moving objective but it was fun and more open than the single player. You basically just get a big goody bag of weapons to choose from. Lack of communication though, I can't even type a message to other fellow.
