Picked this bad boy up today; Limited Edition woo! Can't wait to try it out.

hmm, never realized that.
I'll need to check that mode out.

Yea i like it a LOT more than standard. No HUD, bullets do more damage, no kill cam, no virtual spotting(i.e. they only show up on the mini map).

Also, i did figure out how to use free look on the consoles. Just had to hold down on the d-pad.

I think I prefer hardcore mode as well.
The shotgun seems be automatically become more useful because of the spread and lack of cross-hair.

Just played a few rounds and it feels different than the last one. Spotting would have changed the game for me in BFBC2, but I didn't even know it was feature, and other players weren't using it either. Now more peeps seem to be using it (They should really hammer that in with some big hint on ur screen so everyone does it). I also noticed the death indicators above friendlies and the mini map enemy triangles flash when they fire their weapon near you. We have so been needing those. I've always been a careful operator when it comes to moving or camping in the battlefield, but now we have the final features to give cautious players like me an idea where enemy team movements are coming from so we can act accordingly.

Did you definitely put in all the physical warfare code? You should have them all, especially the DOA (or whataver it's called) shotgun. That thing is awesome, especially with the flechette ammo.

It's probably because of the region lock, other people got there codes on releese day.
Alot of people just used proxys to trick origin. Not released here officially until friday.

Well, for PC players anyway.... I guess console wins this round :P

Btw, this game broke street date for us yesterday... Last week, it was Arkham City that broke street date. Turns out on both counts, it was JB Hifi deliberately doing it to **** up EB Games Midnight Launch event plans. As cool as it is to get my game a little early, that kind of thing is supremely dodgy.

Dude, how did you play BC2 with out spotting?

Its not only usefull but you can rack up the points of you use it alot, for the +10 spot assist.

Maybe its a good thing that its not widley advertised.. hahaha :woot:

Played a 4 hour session yesterday. Cant get enough of this game. Altho i almost lost it when my team lost by 300 tickets on Op Metro. If your team is just halfway decent and they control points A and B, game over, you aren't overtaking those points.

They're a competitive business that also sells dvd's, computers, tv's, music etc. It's a total dick move.

Read this Kotaku article, it's pretty interesting.

Also, I've been playing a bit of single player, and it's not terrible. I mean, it's nothing mind blowing, but I'm finding it just as engaging as I ever found a COD SP, which I always thought was blown out of proportion anyway.

If they change up the shipping they should just do that for the offenders. Everybody wins. :word:

I got to the 3rd mission in SP and eh, the only cool thing about it was the intro. lol the multiplayer is a ton of fun though. Being support is the best. I set up shop in a side alley and racked up the kills. The best part is I scored a bunch of headshots coz to try and get to me they had to run up stairs hahah. :D

Yea I love using the support class. Only problem is it seems like a damn tank is ALWAYS rolling up on me and I'm stuck with nothing to use against it and teammates that don't want to be engineers. I swear I'm the only person ever taking down tanks and other vehicles.

Yeah, I usually just tag them and get some distance lol.

I really need to unlock the heat seekers. I don't use the planes much but when I do I'm pretty competent. Give me those heat seekers and im unstoppable

I'm awesome at flying around in the jet, a lot more awesome than I thought i'd be, since I still suck at choppers, but I find it pretty hard to get any kills with it. Mind you, it was the machine gun version and nobody on the team was spotting anyone, so I was pretty much just guessing. If I had a missile or something, I could easily be taking out tanks. DID do a kamikaze though, that was fun :P

Yeah, I was actually casually enjoying the SP until operation guillotine, then it was just like so many COD levels that I hate, when it's a huge battlefield type scenario, but apparently the whole platoon can't handle enemies unless I'm next to them at all times.

I did like the first few levels, I just wish to hell it was co-op. Speaking of which, has anyone else tried the co-op? My friend and I found it really tough and we want those damn unlockable weapons.

Yeah, this game is hella fun though. I won't be happy until I unlock a red dot sight for all my weapons though :P

Why don't you use the C4?

I never can get close enough to plant the damn stuff. Always get blowed away.

You call yourself a soldier?!? DROP AND GIVE ME 20 :P

Btw, have you guys registered on Battlelog? It's pretty cool.
