Looking for friends on Battlelog so there are actually some interesting stats to look at other than my own :P my Battlelog name is Wolvieboy17
 
Yeah, I'm always so happy when I have a top score but less kills or more deaths than people near the bottom :P Gives me validation.
 
In Red Orchestra 2 you get 10 ten times the points for capturing or defending a point than you do for getting a kill. It totally makes attempting to run and gun a futile feat.
In this some classes like the sniper by default will have more accuracy and less deaths than someone running at the front or using suppresion spam. It's pretty stupid I think.
 
Nah, I think 100 is fine, especially since you still get the same points if not more from revives, support stuff and objective stuff. If anything you should get more points for destroying vehicles, especially jets
 
It should be drastically more tho. U get 100 for a kill but only 250 for taking a flag. The kill should only net you 50 at most
 
Eh, i'm happy with how it is, but it'd be nice if they could introduce some double xp weekends now and then.
 
Played a 4 hour session yesterday. Cant get enough of this game. Altho i almost lost it when my team lost by 300 tickets on Op Metro. If your team is just halfway decent and they control points A and B, game over, you aren't overtaking those points.
The map is designed to have a major choke point for the losing team's deployment area. Point C is all they can control. Even if they have mobile spawn, they have to overcome two more bottle-neck positions. Destroying walls would make things more simple.

Yea it's just a terribly designed map over all. That's the only map I can say I dont care for. Iv been on both side of a horribly lopsided outcome. A game should never be that one sided. That map needs to be scrapped or overhauled.
 
Really? I love that map. I think it's a good mid-range map and I love that it forces players to adapt their class choice as it progresses. I haven't played conquest on that map though, only Rush.
 
Yeah, I only play Rush so it's not that big a deal for me. I can't believe they have it for Conquest though lmao, it's bad enough dealing with those long corridors when people can't spawn near them.

TDM is kind of a crazy/interesting/broken mess. It's very strange that they included it, it's fun for what it is, but prepare to die immediately after spawning a lot.

I couldn't see TDM being fun at all in this game.

Play conquest and get stuck not having control of B. you'll quickly see how broken that map is.

Overall it's just a poor Battlefield map. Easily the weak link out of all the maps.
 
We can perhaps agree it's a poor conquest map then, but I still think it's a great Rush map

It kind of is. I quickmatch by accident sometimes and it hooks me up with a game too fast for me to back out so I play whatever I'm stuck with, and once I got TDM.

There was like this metal shed looking thing, and if you go prone you have a clear line of fire and are barely visible. I got like 7 kills in under a minute coz they kept trying to come through the door I was covering hahah.
 
Probably just stuck it in for teh Call Of Duty. fight. Like the pointless SP. And pointless deathmatch.
Just banging off bullet points. I blame EA for that, not Dice.
 
I dunno, I liked Squad Deathmatch in Bad Company 2, and I'm not gonna complain about extra game times, just adds more playtime to the whole experience.
 
I'm trying to recall the Metro point C choke point. Now, if I remember, there are three ways in from deployment. The front, left, and right glass door ways and walls. After that it's off to point B through escalator hell, small linear corridors for alternative routes, large areas with dual opposing information offices, and some more escalators. That's until you reach point A, which is closer to enemy deployment, and that's all I can remember from my short time playing the map an watching other on JTV.
 
I've really been digging this game. Only played MP so far, but it's great.

My only minor gripe so far is the positioning of the objective capture on the HUD during Conquest. It's literally right in the middle of the screen while you're capturing. Like, couldn't they have moved it to the corner or something? Makes it pretty annoying to try to fight during a capture.

I wish there was a tutorial for jets/helicopters, because I'm so god awful in them lmao but I want to try them out so bad. I couldn't even figure out how to steer the damn jet hahaha I just flew straight into the sky and had no idea wtf I was doing. Tried a chopper and crashed it right into the lake after like 30 seconds. Yep...I'm one of those morons hahaha. Maybe they can do a DLC trainer, I dunno.

Is it just me, or is it crazy how few kills there are in games sometimes? There are times when I play Conquest on Caspian Border or another big map like that and the top K/D is like 6/1 at the end. Definitely a change of pace from other FPS games.
 
I don't know who thought TDM was lame, because I just did my first match of it and got MVP by a country mile. Awesome.
