I'm getting limited edition version but have no clue what it comes with, I'm assuming it's map packs and stuff.

Yeah, it comes with a free map pack when the map pack is released. You also get some exclusive dog tags & early access to the Mass Effect 3 beta.

I beat the campaign today. It was okay. Nowhere nears as fun as the COD campaigns or BC2.

Co-op is pretty damn fun, much better than Spec-Ops & I've barely touched the multiplayer but it seems good.

beta was broken as hell too. so the hit detection was all over the place. instant kills, aiming above the head headshots.

the thing people liked was the time between pressing L1 and it showing up on screen. now it takes a little bit from pressing L1 to the cross hairs popping up.

Had a good session this morning, played about 10 games. Think my team only lost 1 and i was consistently finishing in the top 3. Starting to get used to it now. I was having problems with the right analogue stick being the button for crouch/prone before. I pressed down too hard as I was aiming and kept going prone. But I being a bit more gentle with it now

I wish the SV98 would get a small buff. I think it's stupid that it's a bolt action but doesn't kill instantly. I might as well use the semi-auto sniper rifle since at least it basically does the same damage.

For anyone playing on the 360, if you had the HD pack download stop while it was installing and you had to start it again, delete it from the HDD and get it again. I did it and i thought the game looked alright but now it looks a lot better.

I've been wondering about this, too. I had the same issue where it started to install, then went back to the prompt and installed again. So, I've deleted it twice just in case it was not installing properly, but I've noticed no difference.

I even opted NOT to install it just to see if it made a difference, and I didn't notice much of a difference.

For me stuff was a little blurry, especially at a distance.

I think I noticed a difference in texture up close. Like, I was looking at some rock/rubble and the texture was really muddy without the texture pack. So, I guess that's the difference it makes.

I suppose we were just spoiled with the PC footage commercials. It literally looks nothing like that IMO. This is the first game that made me realize how far behind home consoles are in the graphics department.

I've felt that way since Crysis. The 360 port even looks shoddy in comparison to the PC.

6 years is a long time. The good thing is that theoretically the next gen doesn't have to be super expensive to up the graphic power significantly, since things have advanced so much.

& with all of the stuff being added to both systems they can just make them standard in the next ones

They really need to remove the 40-50 second timer thing between rounds.
It's really anoying now. You have to launch origin, which launched battlelog and when you connect to a game it's near finished alot of the time so you have to sit for 40-50 seonds more, then it loads which it takes about 10-25 seconds. It's pretty ill thought out.

I think it's fine... Time to check your stats and all that and chat with people, plan your attack etc. Considering how long a match tends to go, it makes sense. Give you a little break. It's actually the perfect length of time to go and get a drink, which is totally fine with me.

I think they should at least give the server the option to reduce the time. I'm willing to bet the majority of people feel the same way.

I don't mind the waiting, I just think it's stupid that you can't quit during the wait. Other games *cough* COD *cough* use the same kind of "reward" screen, but you can still quit the lobby before the next match starts. It's pretty idiotic that they didn't use something similar.

I noticed that too soooooo annoying.

Some things stayed the same throughout all the battlefield games, it's comforting and frustrating at the same time. Two big ones are map disadvantage and constant shut-out games, where one team will consistently beat the other and there is no real struggle. It's competent, or higher skill players, versus scrubs, noobs, and maybe a couple of frustrated competent players on the loser team.

Yeah, it's really unfair IMO that the teams don't change at all. MOH was the same and I thought it was unfair there, too. If you get a great team you can literally squash the other team over and over again because the players never change.

Teams do change. It's happened to me before. One game I was attacking and I did awesomely, got like 9,000 points, MVP by far and then the next game I was attacking again, and it had switched me and a couple of other high scoring players over to the other team.

You can always switch teams yourself if you really feel it's unfair.

This morning I got matched with an awesome squad that used proper cover formation and everything. We rolled up on these 6 dudes camping an MCOM station (last stage of Operation Metro, they were all hiding in "A") and, two taking the right entrance and two on the left, we cleared them all out...

It was magical.
