The Dark Knight Rises BB 3 casting.

Discussion in 'The Dark Knight Trilogy' started by nolan's roll'n, May 6, 2006.

?

Which villains other than the Joker and Two-Face do you want to see in BB3?

  1. Penguin (except this time with a bigger role than the short cameo in BB2)

  2. Edward Nygma/The Riddler or Matt Hagen/Clayface

  3. Selina Kyle/Catwoman

  4. Roman Sionis/ Black Mask or Bane

  5. Sal Vatore Maroni or Rupert Thorne

  6. Talia Al Ghul

  7. Jervais Tetch/Maddhatter or Scarecrow Stage 2

  8. Pamela Isley/Poison Ivy

  9. Harley Quinn

I've made another thread about casting, except this is intended for BB 3, not 2. So post the villians you want to see in it. Obviously Joker and Two-Face are going to be in it. They're going to be the most important villains of the film but we'll see smaller roles by others. BB 3 is a long way from now, so why not speculate?

    Batman: Bale
    Joker: Bettany
    Two Face: Schrieber
    Catwoman: Portman
    Black Mask: Gyllenhaal
    Penguin: Hoffman
    Mad Hatter: Kelsey Grammer

I have no idea what the story would be - but those are the villians and actors I want.

I liked Cillian Murphy as Dr. Jon Crane/Scarecrow but I still think that Christopher Eccleston could have been better for the role. Eccleston's my third choice for the role of the Joker. He's behind Lachy Hulme and Paul Bettany. I recently have seen Gangster No.1 and Bettany deserves the role, for his performance in that. I don't know why he's not in the running for the role anymore.

Why returning of the penguin, two-faced, riddler, and catwoman. we all have seen all of this already in other Batman movies.

Get new villain...brand new ones, joker is ok. because of the storyline.

IT's TWO-FACE! since it's reboot of the franchise and why not use best villains but done right.

    She'd be better as Catwoman.

Chiklis is not suited for Thorn in anyway.

I can't see Stewart as Calender Man, either.

The rest of your picks aren't bad though.

I could see him as Bullock.

I would also like to see The Riddler in BB3, Simon Pegg would be my choice for him.

everyone else i could think of was DEAD!.

    perhaps Hopkins.

i could see Stewart as him or Brian Cox the role is too "Lecter-ish" for Hopkins to play (because he palyed Lecter and it would make it seem rehashey).

    Cox was Hannibal Lecter also.

John Malkovich would be my choice for Calender Man.

Paul Sorvino and Brian Cox are still alive and they're perfect.

And you saying Hopkins is wrong for Calender Man because it's too Lecterish and then saying Cox would be better doesn't make sense because Cox played Lecter before Hopkins.

EDIT: Beat me to it, Eddie Dean.

He'd be great as Calender Man but he's perfect for Hugo Strange. I can also see him as Freeze, though that would be too obvious.

Both would be good, but Bruce McGill is still my first choice.

He could also make a great Riddler.

Robert Englund and Richard O'Brien are my choices for Hugo Strange.

I agree on The Riddler, but I really want Goldblum.

And Malkovich is the spitting image of Strange:

I wouldn’t mind Malkovich as Strange, he’s just not my first choice.

Malkovich IS dr. Hugo Strange, i can see no one else in the role.

    portman for selina
    Hoskins for Penguin
    Clive Owen for Black Mask
    norton or Goldblum for Riddler
