Any one think that the reason his neck looks weird is because of whatever is going on here?

Maye someone can overlay Ben Affleck shirtless to see how much padding there is. That would explain the weird look.

I'm sure the suit won't look like this from other angles so not worried about the movie.

he has large trapezoids and the angle of the photo is looking slightly down on him. Any picture of a bodybuilder would look the same. I personally don't think there's the slightest thing wrong with how his neck looks in that picture, but the angle and large traps are what's giving it the look that people see as a short neck. That, and the fact that the black of the cowl is hiding detail.

Affleck doesn't have large traps. I'd say the opposite and it actually appears to be one of his genetic weak spots. People with well-developed traps have shoulders that look slanted. Affleck's shoulder line is really flat and horizontal (outside of the Batsuit).
