Oh man, how could I forget CHASING AMY? Love that film. It reminds me that Ben Affleck isn't even a bad actor who got good as he matured, as even some of his defenders have stated. He's a good actor who began his career showing real promise in quality small-scale films, but who then went on to damage his reputation in a series of high-profile stinkers, before going on to regain his credibility in more recent years.

The bat symbol needs a little oval. :o

Ben is a good actor but I'm sorry I'm not convinced he could pull off Batman. He's gonna have to go out there and prove me wrong. God knows I'm rooting for him.

I guess the jury is out until we see the first trailer but right now I'm thinking this is a big miscast.

How can you come to that conclusion, when we've never seen a serious version of his gray suit in live action?

I don't know how many manips I have seen for years of some actor in that ugly suit. I'm sorry I'm not trying to start an argument but I find it ugly. All black looks better to me though in TDKR the suit looked weird and bulky.

I disagree, I think it's time for a decent version of the grey suit

That is all :jedi

For every fan who loves the grey suit, I will find a million more :P

Time to drag out this old classic. Granted it was designed for a rookie 'Ultimate" Batman but I think the overall look is pretty awesome. I just don't like the way the caps covers so much of his chest, I'd want that altered somehow.

THIS is the version I want to see, minus the spandex of course. :D

I wouldn't even object to spandex outright. Obviously shiny cosplay spandex won't cut the mustard, but the more textured material like what was used in Superman's suit or the Spider-Man costume - or even the outfits worn by the crew in Prometheus or the opening of Star Trek Into Darkness - could be a decent base.

I don't think anyone means actual spandex when they say spandex. That said, a good thick textured cloth would be fine, throw in a line about how it's some WayneTech kevlar/titanium weave or whatever and voila. I'd rather they move away from bulky movement restricting armor.

I think black will look better in a live action movie as well. Especially if they don't lose the fear aspect of Batman.
