I cain't see't!!

anyway, don't all pictures of Dakota Fanning scare the **** out of you?

I wonder if there's a South Dakota Fanning and a North Dakota Fanning.

I cant see it either - I right clicked the X, went down to properties, copied the link and then pasted it into Internet Explorer.

I will be pondering the South and North Dakota Fanning questions for weeks now, thanks a lot.

If Frank Miller did this movie....I'd go with Mickey Rourke as Batman

Here we go:

East Dakota

Yup.

I'm anti-Dakota-as-Robin by the way. I don't think she's right for it.

lol.

I seem to consistently like about half of Anthony's casting choices. The rest--for whatever reason--just don't seem to sit well with me.

Which ones do you agree and disagree with, Ronny.

Ronny on Anthony's DKR cast:

Batman / Bruce Wayne - Denzel Washington
This isn't my choice, but I dig it. Old 'zel would do a bang up job.

Alfred Pennyworth - Christopher Lee
Lee is indeed awesome, and the right age, but he doesn't seem to me like a very nice guy. He's got that sinister-ness to him. Alfred has always been very amicable.

The Joker - David Bowie
I am, for the most part, unfamiliar with Bowie's acting. I have to abstain on this one.

Catwoman / Selina Kyle - Ann-Margret or Sigourney Weaver
Sigourney Weaver, nice. I don't know Ann Margret

Two-Face / Harvey Dent - Al Pacino or Bruce Willis
Al Pacino (You already know how I feel about this)
Willis...I could see it happening, but I think there are too many other good roles for him and other good actors for Harvey.

Jim Gordon - Clint Eastwood or Donald Sutherland
Swell. Both.

Mutant Leader - Michael Clarke Duncan
Fine. But I feel MCD is in danger of being overused in comic films. He seems like A) is built for it, and B) is willing to do it. Here the part doesn't scream him and I feel like someone else could be a little eviler and definitive for this part. I also think that Duncan's strength is not in his animalistic growling, but in his deep-toned collected voice and casual badassery. Someone who's a little more psycho. (If you know a movie where Duncan is like this, tell me immediately and I will watch it)

Commissioner Ellen Yindell - Jennifer Jason Leigh or Jamie Lee Curtis
Fine. I haven't given this role much thought. I may change my mind.

Superman / Clark Kent - Jim Caviezel or Daniel Day Lewis
Good. I say Caviezel over Lewis.

The Green Arrow / Oliver Queen - Sean Connery
Good as well.

Robin / Carrie Kelly - Dakota Fanning
Don't like it. Earlier you said Knightley, which I didn't like either. I'm still searching for the right Robin as well, so no worries. I think she needs to be somewhere in between those two. Fanning=intelligent child. Knightley=saucy babe. Carrie Kelly isn't quite either of those things.

This is, on a whole, a pretty solid casting job. When I said I liked about half of your choices I was generalizing for all the castings I've seen you done. I could be totally off base when I said half. That was a guess.

I appreciate your thoughts. I agree that Lee is very sinister most of the time (Ra's Al Ghul was actually based off of him), but considering he is such a tremendous actor, there is no doubt in my mind he could pull off the role.

Bowie has acted in several films, most notably The Man Who Fell To Earth, Martin Scorcesse's The Last Temptation Of Christ and Labrynth. Watch especially Labrynth, his character is pure evil. He could pull off the part with ease.

Ann-Margret is my favorite actress and one of, if not the, most beautiful actresses ever. Her films might necessarily appeal to you because most of her most popular and arguably best work is from the 60s' and early 70s', but if you want to check out some her more popualr stuff, I'd suggest Carnal Knowledge (also a great chance for you to get more acquainted with Jack Nicholson's work), Viva Las Vegas (an Elvis musical, forget your opinions on Elvis and pay attention to Ann, she looks quite hot in this film), and Grumpy Old Men (not really all that great of a movie but even at 52 she looks great, and her acting really carries the movie since Jack Lemmona and Walter Matthou really seem to not be putting their hearts into it). All that being said, Sigourney would be excellent as well.

For Two-Face, Pacino can without a doubt nail downt he character's duality and put in an amazing performance, but Willis looks the part a bit more and can probably do just as good.

MCD is built like a tank, and considering how great of an actor he is, he can probably be able to let loose and be evil and animalistic. I do agree with him being a bit overused in comic book movies, though.

Robin would probably be best suited for an unknown, but since I can't think of some young unknown actress, Dakota Fanning will have to do. Natalie Portman would've been perfect IMO around the time she did Leon The Professional.

Yes, she would have:up:

Hi! I'm new here, but reading the discussions about the possible cast, I decided to join in. Well, here goes nothing...

Batman - Peter Weller

I know he's been out of movie bussiness for a while, but some time ago, I saw his pictures, of him being a professor of cinema arts in a University and the first thought that came to mind was "Wow! He's the right guy for DKR!" I know his looks doesn't give him credit as Bruce Wayne, but he'd look great as Batman.

David Bowie would be great for Joker.

Well, that's for now, I'll come up with more suggestions later.

What about my cast from page 11?

CFE

Mickey Rourke or Michael Keaton as Batman

Jack Nicholson as The Joker

Chris Lee or Michael Caine as Alfred

Pierce Brosnan as Two-Face

Directed by Robert Rodriguez, Chris Nolan, Tim Burton, or Sandy Corolla

Bowie would be awesome as Joker, very nice manip as well.

Look at this great manip of Bowie someone made.

That is by far one of the best photo manipulations of any actor as any character.

I want something nostalgic:
Batman- Michael Keaton
Joker- Jack Nicholson
Two Face- Tommy Lee Jones
Catwoman- Michelle Pfeiffer

I wouldn't mind most of them reprising their roles, but we need someone else for Two-Face. Tommy Lee Jones was awful.

Al Pacino or Bruce Willis for Two-Face.

You know, Tommy Lee is great actor but it was Schumacher who wanted him to play like "Jokerish" I wouldn't mind in DKR movie.

You want Tommy Lee from Motley Crue for DKR Two Face? LOL just kidding. I agree TLJ is a great actor and could probably could've done a great job with the character. Alas, while I wouldn't mind the old cast reprising their roles, I'd prefer an all new cast.

Interesting choice. I could see it.
