Jeez dude, are we all a bunch of molecular biologists and virologists in here? Matt didn't know that the virus was suspended in solution and I nicely cleared that up for him.
oh....![]()
That's what I figured.Going back on topic (the episode), did anyone else sense that Elle liked it, when realized how appreciated she was, when she acted like a "hero", instead of being a villain for the company? A turning point for her, perhaps?
Haha, tell me more about bacteria and viruses. When you're done, I'll tell you what I have my degree in.
For old time's sake![]()
Ooooo. We're talking "degrees" now. Okay, I'll bite: What exactly did this "degree" of yours tell you about solutions that allow (or not allow) viruses to survive thousands of degrees? You seemed to imply that that was important, somehow.![]()
Matt had a simple misunderstanding and it was cleared up with about 4% of the pompousness you did it with![]()
haha, that's Ralphie in your av right, tyler?
but even if the virus was liquid, it could never survive being superheated by nuclear energy. I think.![]()

I usually reserve my pompousness for Matt and his Debbie Downer ways. He seems to revel in coming in here to simply prove how much smarter than the writers he is. You just got caught in the crossfire.
Or maybe you jumped in.![]()
yep.yeah it is, is that HRG in yours?
yay! me learned goodCorrect Abbadabba
You have a point why didn't he walk through and open it on the other side.
Peter could have phased in and phased out with the virus, but I'm not sure if he knew that he can extend this ability to things he's holding/touching.
Yeah, but Peter didn't need to bring the virus with him. He could have destroyed it and walked out. Just like he destroyed it anyway. I mean, what did he think Adam was going to do to get rid of it?Vaults usually don't have the same mechanisms as doors, where you can just open it from either side. Well, especially on the outside, but I think that includes the inside also. People being locked inside vaults has been a plot tool in movies and TV for some time now. Batman even used it.
Anyhow. Peter could have phased in and phased out with the virus, but I'm not sure if he knew that he can extend this ability to things he's holding/touching.
