About your response:

What the hell difference does the "solution" make? No virus on earth can withstand that kind of heat. There's certain bacteria that actually lives on volcano vents, and can withstand around 400 degrees fahrenheit of heat. To vaporize the glass tube, as Peter did, he had to have been working with a MINIMUM of 2000 degrees (melting point), although to turn it completely into ash, he had to have been MUCH higher than that. Any nincompoop can deduct that NO living thing which, the last time I checked, a virus is, will withstand that - SOLUTION OR NOT.

Common sense bro. WHY do we boil things in water to make things sterile? Oh wait. It's the "solution" of water, right?

I usually reserve my pompousness for Matt and his Debbie Downer ways. He seems to revel in coming in here to simply prove how much smarter than the writers he is. You just got caught in the crossfire.

I made a mistake. It looked to be a liquid. That led me to think it was man-made as opposed to biological. Sort of like a chemical weapon and therefore could take a gaseous state.

Vaults usually don't have the same mechanisms as doors, where you can just open it from either side. Well, especially on the outside, but I think that includes the inside also. People being locked inside vaults has been a plot tool in movies and TV for some time now. Batman even used it.

Anyhow. Peter could have phased in and phased out with the virus, but I'm not sure if he knew that he can extend this ability to things he's holding/touching.

And... he doesn't even know the layout of the vault, what the virus looks like, where exactly it is, anything that might be in between him and the virus, any security measures in there, and etc.

Yeah, but Peter didn't need to bring the virus with him. He could have destroyed it and walked out. Just like he destroyed it anyway. I mean, what did he think Adam was going to do to get rid of it?

I think Peter is very susceptible to influence. Adam says jump, Peter says how high.

That, and he's a moron. A lot of the characters were idiots this season, I hate to say it. This season had some pretty slopping writing as far as characterization goes - everyone had to act like an idiot for the plot to move along. (though I still enjoyed it).
