Chapter 38- “I Am Become Death” – Discussion Thread 10/6/08

So Four Years in the Future

-Nathan is president
-Daphne is married to Matt and they have a daughter
-Daphne works for the company with Knox and Claire, and Hatian
-Sylar is good, and lives with (son?) named Noah in the Bennet House.
-Future Peter is bad, and a villian?
-Everyone has Powers
-Suresh is a monster

So are all the powers related to this formula? If Nathan's are artifical, who elses' are? Are all the powers a result of the formula?

Who may or may not be Claire's

I don't think so. I think there were actual people that were born with these abilities, then when the group of Twelve elders got together (who all had abilities) they thought they could all play God with their children and other peoples childrens.

Remember back when Angela (or was it in Victoria) in season two where she stated they all tried to play God.

LOVE THIS!

I'm guessing some are born with it...Claire, Sylar, Hiro and some are given the ability Nathan, Tracy, Matt, etc...

This is all tying back to the first season where some of the people had marks. Those pseudo tatoos were injection marks if I had a guess.

I think the people born with the powers are more powerful than those artificially given.

Great episode, loved it. The fact that Nathan maybe artificial is gay though. He loses alot of what he had in the first season due to that very reason. I personally think that Peter will be all natural 100% hero.

all the powers cant be a result of the formula ...one example Adam ...there was no formula when he discovered his powers

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnd.

I'm not watching Heroes next week. Not only did they grab the promicin storyline... it has now been retconned to be the cause of some character's powers in the main cast.

Thanks season three... you've officially Matrix sequeled the first season. :down

Lol like you'll resist. 4400 was garbage anyway in it's later seasons.

Also I think all those who have a recycled power that we've seen before has been artificial.

Except how do they know that their children wouldnt have abilities or not? And if she gave Nathan his abilities what about Peter and Sylar? Did she deciede to change her wicked ways after she had him and gave Sylar his ability?

Okay, big stretch...
If Noah Gray is the son of Sylar and Claire (yuckie), maybe he survived the explosion at Costa Verde. I could see him re-appearing in a future season!

Maybe Sylar and Peter had abilities and Nathan was the odd kid out? Wouldn't want him seen as weak:o

Sylar probably regenerated after he went nuclear, but I guess no one was there to save Knox.. :(

Matt already had his powers before he was taken captive by The Company. Plus, those shots they were given were isotopes, used to track them.

The kid is dead...and when did Sylar and Claire have sex:huh:

So now the question is, who are all the heroes who we have seen with the mark during S1 and 2?

They didn't need isotopes when they had Molly:o She was their tracker. Plus those marks could simply be signs of ownership of the company...they gave those people powers and owned them. Matt just said that he was taken by the company and after so...he had the weird power. Same goes for Ted.

Except Nathan is the only one with whom you can tell actually has powers. Sylar and Peters abilities are hard to detect.

Lol never. He did say big stretch after all. I have no idea who the mother of that child could possibly be. He died, and then his body was incinerated.

Seeing a little 3 year old with powers might be a little weird.

Maybe he can heal and duplicate himself.

I don't remember anyone having those sorts of abilities.

Who is older between Sylar and Nathan???
Nathan looks older:o Peter is Nathan's younger bro and Sylar and Peter look to be the same age. I think Angela had one kid, didn't want another...gave away Sylar, and then righted her wrongs and had Peter.
