The "Elle returns with a Shock for Claire" thing, I hope it's just a bad pun, and Elle's not another Petrelli!

Maybe she is Claire's older half sister. Like Claire's real mother had a child out of being raped by one of the villians that she put up for adoption before meeting up with Nathan Patrelli. Wasn't Elle pretty much raised at the center by the Midus guy/turn things into gold guy, so maybe that was what happened.

Elle comes to Claire's house looking for HRG cause her powers are going all freakydeaky. Then she and Claire seem like they're going to team up cause Claire begins telling Elle that her powers are malfunctioning too (she can't feel pain) seems like these two blondes are going to Pinehearst to figure this out.

Don't think Maya is dying. There's a picture of her talking with Mohinder all alert and everything.

I wouldn't say they shouldn't have never introduced her. They had a great story planned out for her during season two. She was going to be the one that helped destroy the virus, but of course the writers strike cut that out entirely.

Seriously, if you all knew the reason why Maya was introduced you'd understand. She was going to sacrifice herself to get rid of the Shanti Virus during the second half of season two, but that part got cut because of the strike.
