I missed the dialogue before Sylar started slicing Elle's head open. Why did he kill her?
He didnt kill her. Something stopped him before he could complete it. I dont think he trusts anyone after HRG's revelation that Arthur and Angela arent his parents and that Elle knew. He probably feels he's still manipulated by her and that they both will never change. The killing and evilness is what he knows and what he's used to, so he's back to thatI missed the dialogue before Sylar started slicing Elle's head open. Why did he kill her?
yeah as much as I hated what was done with him this season, at least it was different and taking him in a new direction but now he's in the same exact position he's been in the first 2 seasons. Absolutely no progression and completely pointless at this pointYawn...Sylar has become really irrelevant to this show now.
It wasnt about stealing her powers. He wanted to kill herOk that was dumb, Sylar already have Ellie powers, why the hell he needs to do a brain drain?

How many more days until Lost comes back?
I'm sorry, what the hell with Sylar and Elle? Felt like a huge waste of time.
This isn't the Lost forum. How many more days until Lost comes back?

these past 3-4 episodes have been the best of the season. ive actually been excited each upcoming episode now. but i am really getting sick of Sylar switching sides every week.

It is odd but fans are complaining that the development that they were getting in Season 2 and the beginning of this Season was wretched like Sylar for instance. Now it seems they are going back on what they were building on by tearing it down and starting over again to please the naysayers which is hurting the show even more. These past three episodes have all been a reset button. Absolutely everything is returned to the status quo. Nathan is being manipulated again. Sylar is evil again (and maybe not even a Petrelli). Everyone has their powers again. What the hell was the point of any of it? Why introduce plot lines if instead of developing and finishing them, you just decide to devote three episodes towards resetting them? Hell, I wouldn't be suprised if Papa Petrelli dies, which results in Muary and Adam somehow being ressurected...only to have Arthur cured with Claire's blood two seconds later. This show is scared to advance its plot or characters...which is really odd for a serial.
