Chapter 47 - "Duality" - Discussion Thread 12/15/2008

Sylar is one of the only good characters left on the show.

No. He's not. He's just a one note character... and that was only good for one season of story.

That's why they had to butcher his character this season....

I really hope Ando's effects are temporary. I dont want to see Daphne keep her new time travelling ability or him being able to make others too strong

LOL....at Tracy getting knocked out

Pretty rare to see a man punch a woman square in the face like that.. :p

I feel bad for Ali Larter, she has litterly been given nothing to work with this season.

WTF is wrong with Nathan? Really been pissing me off lately.

So Peter has his original power back?

Wait...Peter injects himself with the serum...and he automatically gets back his ability?

I still cant buy Nathans total change in personality. And Peter has his powers back...that sucks. Atleast give him a new set of powers.

they were really grasping at straws with this Tracy character. Her playing yet another character was ridiculous.

the only way this will work for me is that he is back to his season 1 power levels. He can ONLY use other people's abilities when he's close to them. I really dont want to see him retaining them and using them at will whenever he wants

Pay attention to the scene with Matt and Daphne earlier in the episode when they are explaining to Ando that he might not get the time manipulation powers.

This goes back to season one as explained by Tim Kring, everyone's powers developed as a result of their characters traits, Daphne explained it perfectly.

His season one level was using any power any time...
not whenever he wanted to. When we first saw him, he could only use other powers when in close proximity

Good call. Didnt even think of it like that. Ando's makes sense now

It sucks that there isnt anyone who can really go up against Sylar. It just makes him so boring now whenever he shows up.

claire saves the day? woah

See this is where Claire should have taken care of Sylar once and for all.
