Chapter 47 - "Duality" - Discussion Thread 12/15/2008

And another blonde bites the dust! They get rid of all the good charecters around here.

wow, claire mom sure some fire power

Pay attention to the scene with Matt and Daphne earlier in the episode when they are explaining to Ando that he might not get the time manipulation powers.

This goes back to season one as explained by Tim Kring, everyone's powers developed as a result of their characters traits, Daphne explained it perfectly.

How does this explain Peter regaining his ability?

Um... his time with Claude? He learned how to use it right...
yes after Claude, but again thats not how he was originally. He shouldnt be able to retain the powers. Thats when it stopped being interesting with him

Why is Nathan such a total prick all of a sudden?

Also, such a very abrupt out of nowhere ending.

wow, claire mom sure some fire power

To bad they had to have her use it in such a non defensive way.

It was a good episode but not the finale I was thinking of. Sadly finales is not Heroes strong point.

EDIT: Nevermind. Thanks SuperT.

That's when he became more interesting in my opinion.

So was that the president Nathan gave the info to?

I can't wait till Feb. 2nd!!!!

Wait...Peter injects himself with the serum...and he automatically gets back his ability?

All we know is that he can fly. Nathan was in the room which can explain that. He may have to reacquire all of his powers.

Good episode, too bad claires mom died. Next season looks like it could be good.

So Ando will somehow give Hiro's powers back maybe? And we now another Star Trek reference, Worf (aka Micheal Dorn) is now president in the Heroes universe.

no they would never kill him. Plus he has Claires power so he will survive. But I wonder if Meridith was immune to her fire like her brother was to his?
thats what i thought i mean it never burned her hands so...

I was wondering about that but she might not survive having the building fall on her

I'm wondering that about Meredith as well. She could possibly survive the explosion of fire, but could she survive the collapsing building?

I hope so.

Meridith survived the apartment fire that separated her from Claire.

There was absoultely no fighting:csad: They had a prison full of level 5 bad aces and we didn't see one fight. Sylar isn't dead, Nathan is back on the same exact path he was on in Season 1, the Japanese phrase "I did it!" has been over used to complete death, and Mohinder gets a reprieve some how. I was just hoping for an awesome volume ender and we got an episode that should have been given midway through the season:o

Creative should take these next six weeks to get themselves straight and repair this series.

How would Ando give a powerless person powers:huh: He amplifies powers:o I liked Ando as a powerless sidekick and so they decide to give him powers and now he is just a lame tool for Hiro again.:csad:
