Chapter 59 - "An Invisible Thread" Discussion Thread - 4/27/09

While I do see yalls point and I do agree I still think its pointless to whine like a little school girl about something you are powerless over

Well I just finished Season 3 on Hulu, and I have to say I'm fairly torn. I thought Volume 4 was much better than Volume 3. In fact, I'd have to say Vol. 4 is the best it's been since Season 1. But the ending had me on the fence...I suppose it's just not exactly what I expected.

Expressing an opinion over something you are powerless over is the entire concept of these forums.

Yea i guess just kinda starts making me wanna agree with yall on some things just hearing about em over and over and over but anyways....\

One complaint I do wanna make is Michael Dorn. At first I was like AWESOME and then I saw him in the limo and was like WTF!!! Since when is Worf cockeyed!! What happened to him? Seriously though he wasnt cockeyed when he was Worf was he? I dont remember him being cuz Ive seen most of TNG and basically all of DS9 and I dont remember him looking at 2 people at the same time

Dorn is not cockeyed, being a real-life jet pilot. But he suffered a mild stroke recently.

Oh really that sux kinda makes me feel bad about saying that but not really

There's really no discussing this episode is there? There's numerous threads covering all manner of things about it and other insanity of this season but, for once, everyone seems in agreement that it totally lost track. So there's no opinions sought, no questions that we can debate the answers of. There's just too much gone wrong with it.

That said, I'll undoubtedly be watching the next series only in the dim hope of it getting back on track. Loeb is starting to do to this show what he did to the Ultimates

Oh, and doesnt what they did to Sylar just scream Morph/Proteus and the Exiles?

Loeb has not been part of this show for quite a few episodes now

i thought i am sylar
and an invisible thread were awesome

i guess... i'm alone on the happy fan side of the show

Mixed feelings about the finale...part of me feels like the "real" Nathan should have just stayed dead. I'm tired of the faux "someone's gonna die but oh wait we find some crazy way of bringing them back" gimmick.

I've always been a Sylar fan but can agree that things will never be as great as Season 1. As for how things played out this ep, I'm definitely interested in seeing how Sylar/Nathan will continue to struggle with identity issues. Meh...I don't really have anything more to add than it would be nice to see Nathan as something other than politician. I feel that his role in the show, as well as the character himself, never really changes or develops.

That said, I'm still a huge fan and will continue to tune in for as long as it runs.
