Chapter 6: "The Line" Discussion 10/29/07

Dude. You're a last minute bandwagoner who jumped in with the DVD's, and saw the whole story all at once, instead of living the season patiently, and discussing the various aspects in here, or with any other Heroes fan in-between episodes.

Just because you can't do the same this season, doesn't give you the right to whine about not being able to do the same. It might seem slow, but each and every character is a part of a larger story, and the larger story will not flesh out without the smaller arcs coming together. Besides, half the fun is in speculating what will happen - ask the "Lost" fans - why then should we accomodate you and give you the whole damned story all at once?

Go wait for the DVD's and stay out of here. :o

In a word, no. If you can't handle other people's opinions, don't go to a public forum.

Just a quick one. At the end when Peter and Caitlin are standing in New York in the background one of the billboards has a figure on it which looked like the cover of the comic Micha showed Monica. The St. something or other. Can anyone confirm if or otherwise?

Sure was... St. Joan. Possible Monica is about to become a public figure perhaps...

Hmm...wow. Quite the ending and preview.

It clearly seems that Maya's power is what wiped out "93 % of the population". So is that what the big arc of this season is going to be? Sylar gets a new power that can cause mass destruction and they have to stop it? If so, major disappointment.

Nada if anything what wipes out 93% of the population will be related to the Shanti virus that has mutated.
Now they may tie Maya to that but its the virus not Maya that is the root cause especially since Maya's power is a small filed around her hardly world encompassing.
Heck they dropped hints towards it with Mohinder talking to Bob.

hmm. I thought it might be Sylar. definitely a biohazard symbol to Peter's right.

yeah the biohazard could be a result of the 'cure' that was in the painting. that might go out of control and infect not just the gifted but the normal too.

I also think if Suresh is the one to shoot HRG then itll be something to do with either the nightmare man placing him in a hallucination or HRG was responsible for the death of Suresh's sister.

i think Kensei will have a change of heart. I think he will come back and save them all and win the love of the Blacksmiths daughter. He just doesnt seem evil enough to me.

I also cant see Sylar getting the powers of Maja and Alejandro's purely because their story has gone on too long now and he couldve killed them ages ago like he did the shape shifter. Once his powers come back he will get the shapeshifting one however i think Maja maybe responsible for him being brought down...but then again she might be responsible for the evacuation of the city...

so many routes they can go in...i love this show

Best ep of the season, imho... we got positive progress on a half-dozen storyline... more progress than we've had in the past 5 eps for most of them, and then, if that weren't enough, we have a return to the 'holy crap endings' as one forum poster put it...

Both Hiro and Kensei have performed the deeds of Legendary Kensei, meaning they are BOTH the Kensei of legend... get it? Good.

(Thanks for the pic... I still don't see how Isaac's comic book would end up big in Times Square... but ah well...)

nah, this is where the legend of kensei and the dragon will be fulfilled.

You think ? I mean it seems like Hiro fubar history and changed Kenesi but I am anxious to see how it plays out in the ned but as of now I think Hiro screwed up big time.

That's all the *****ing in this thread is about. The lack of patience. I think the show is still amazing.

QFMFT and I loved every episode so far this season and last guess I am just a fan and while I see minor flaws every now and then its hardly worth complaining about.

People have to remember they have a 5 year plan and mainly its a drama based show.

Maybe Peter takes over for him. He just so happens to draw/paint just like him lol

yes, i do. i think Hiro thinks he's screwed up the past and future, but it'll work out to the same predetermined end.

"The story begins with Takezo wanting to unite Japan. He sought out the dragon of Kiso Mountainhttp://heroeswiki.com/Dragon_of_Kiso_Mountain and asked the dragon to teach him the secrets of the sword. The dragon did accordingly, and taught the swordsman to become "the Kensei, the Sword Saint". Kensei fought his enemies and won, thus saving his people. But then, the dragon came to Kensei's palace, demanding the life of the princess. Instead, the warrior drew his sword and plunged ithttp://heroeswiki.com/Suicide into his own hearthttp://heroeswiki.com/Heart. Kensei then handed the heart to the dragon and said, "My love is in here. Take it." And then he died." "Some believe that the Dragon brought Kensei back to life."

HRG owned the whole episode. The ending was great and next week looks insane.

The Real Legendary Kensei is really Hiro (Now more than ever , I'm sure of it .)

See I am mixed about this as Kensei has done several of the legendary things himself at this point.
So really its a combination oh Hiro and Kensei who are the real Kensei and I think Hiro has fubared and needs to correct this history he has wrecked.

Thats awesome thanks for the screen cap.
God I just love the way this show ties stuff together.

I can kinda see where you are coming from, will just have to wait and see how it plays out and as much anticipation as I have I can wait :)

i've been w/ Heroes since the very beginning, and i gotta say this episode sealed the deal: HRG is now my favorite character. hands down. he so freakin bad-a s s in this ep, i almost got chills.

Great Ep.

HRG kick @ss

Sylar telling Alejandro He's going to kill him.
Cue Evil Laugh...Muhaaaaaa....:oldrazz:

not that it'll make any difference, but here it is lightened up a bit:

It looks as if some sort of yellow light (the electricity perhaps) is coming out of her.

Sort of an average episode in my eyes. Half of it was good. Half of it was bad. The HRG and Suresh stories were good. The wonder twins and Claire stories sucked.

Wonder Twin story was great because of Sylar. Loved his manipulation of Maya.
