The irish chick was over her brother's death pretty quick. Yeah she wanted to "kill the *****" who killed him but still. One second she's breaking down and the next she's hopping a plane to Canada? lol.

* The pink image in the lower corner of 5/8 is definately the Biohazard Symbol (so I'm guessing this is Peter in Future!NY)
* HRG looks like he's been shot through the eye - could Mohinder maybe shoot him?
* Claire in the last painting looks like she is kissing someone (I assume West), but I was thinking - could she be being comforted after finding her father dead?

If you're saying that you watched the last couple episodes wondering who this new "Gabriel" character was, and just realized it was Sylar, then i'm afraid you kinda are.

Well, in my defense I just started watching--not to mention wasn't the episode before he went with them, wasn't he practically in South America?

In a word, no. If you can't handle other people's opinions, don't go to a public forum.

Check again. You're the one who's "not handling" anything: Be it the pacing of the story, or responses to your criticisms.

Like I said: Spare us your pompous "need gratification NOW" overview. Go watch the show on DVD next year, so you can skip through to the "gratifying" parts, while we enjoy the story as a whole. From the way you sound, you have never gone through any kind of substantial novel.

i don't think that's HRG, Claire, or West in that painting. if it is, then it'll turn out to be one of those alternate "String Theory" futures. and i don't think the chick in the other painting is Nikki.

And where are they gonna get the money? Is NBC going to take it from Biggest Loser? You'd have those people working their asses off in Average Joe's gym or Mighty Mick's...which would actually be pretty cool.

1. Kensei is in the "future" (our present). Check the spoilers.
2. Although it likely happened in our past, the event (the fight) is still a part of Hiro's "future", considering the event had not happened for him yet (from his perspective) when the painting was done.

This makes THREE boring episodes in a row. The story is progressing way too slow. This is fine if something exciting actually happens in each episode but it's almost like the writers are dragging out every little subplot.

how could you think is was a boring episode?? so much stuff happened:

-hiro and kensais story is actually going somewhere
-peter and caitlin trevels to the future to find new york evacuated
-HRG was a being total badass again (i didnt think he was gonna kill that guy!)
-we saw the other 6 paintings
-monica is understanding her power more

i felt this was the best episode of the season so far
