i confess i dont know if it's sleep deprivation or what, but feel like i see things in my peripheral or out of the corner of my eye but they're not really there. this happens fairly often

That's like offering "pizza or pizza" on a menu.

I confess that I feel like I've been living in a dream for the last few years.

I confess I just had to respond to a two-line "nobody cares" comment on YouTube (a reply to one of my comments), with "You apparently cared enough to write a response to a month-old comment."

I feel kind of dirty. :o

Well I guess they got you there.

I have a compulsion.

I post on several sports boards, and whenever I make "semi" unbiased critique of a player or team and I get blasted as a "hater" or "look up your information before I post". Then I have to post the information to back up my point and 90% of the time, I get no reply.

And it makes me feel good. :)

I don't get the internet's obsession with cute pets. "OMG, this cat's face looks like it's angry all the time! Isn't that hilarious?" Not particularly, no.

You shut your mouth about Grumpy Cat.

I confess I hate Grumpy Cat, Jackie Chan and all the other little "drawn by 6 yr old" memes

Just go watch America's Got Talent or something.

I confess I've been drinking excessively lately, even took a sociology exam after 6 jack & cokes, got a B. I've been getting more reckless and apathetic. I started dating one woman and sleeping with another and don't really feel much of anything emotionally, feels like I'm just killing my time.

We have a new co-worker, Jessica, who is a new mom and just out of high school. She is already making a bad impression on the co-workers: coming in late, having a know it all attitude. I've heard other employees (Kris and Cathy) say that she isnt long for this job and one of them said the manager, Toni, agrees. I told the new girl that people have been saying that they are unimpressed with her work ethic and that she needs to be careful. I asked her to not tell any one what I said and she agreed.

I worked with Jessica again today and she said that somehow Toni said she found out that someone had said these things to her and wanted to know who it was. She didnt tell her but Toni went to talk to the store manager. I work with Toni tomorrow. Toni has already talked to other employees to find out who told Jessica, so I'm sure I'll be asked tomorrow.

Moral of the story: never help anyone.

Addendum....unless there's money or sex involved.

Why not have the supervisor tell her those things? Coworkers doing that kind of stuff is never a good idea...people play sides.

I just submitted my novel for a competition that aims to discover new novelists. Currently, I am feeling relief - after spending 9+ years on the book, it is finally finished-and also some anxiety, the same a parent feels when they send their child off to school.

Sadly, I have lost interest in The Walking Dead; I cannot explain why. At the beginning of the season, I was on the couch fifteen minutes before a new episode aired. However, right now, I really do not care, which is difficult, as all of my friends are passionate about it, and I feel disconnected.
