maybe your body just wants healthier things and makes you think you don't want to eat the junk lol
I think the heat also has something to do with it. I get home and I'm just so thirsty that I filled myself up more with juice and water, so when its time to eat, I already feel close to full.

I don't eat breakfast because I have bad anxiety for the day and it usually makes me nauseous.
I'm also kinda like that. Like when I was home doing nothing, I would wake up at 9am, but I would need a couple of hours to feel like I'm ready to eat, so by then it would already be lunch time. But now that I'm waking up at 5:30am for work, I feel sick because of nerves and anxiety, and even if I'm starving, I can't eat until around 11am. That's why I've always said I'm not a morning person.

I liked The Incredible Hulk much more, too. But yeah, people s*** all over Hulk. I used to be one of them back in my younger days.
Same with me

Hulk doesn't really have a fight scene with anyone. You can hardly say his fight with David Banner at the end is a fight scene.
Still, there are good action scenes in that film

Interesting. I do face times like that, breakfast making me nauseous, but when I skip breakfast it's mostly cause I don't feel like I need nourishment that early, I make up to that with some snacks between meals

I was wondering if anyone would be able to recommend any outdoor/sport activities in the Bangor, Orono, or Ellsworth areas, for a 16 year old male? I ask because we are trying to find some activities for a member of our party, while I conduct research in Orono.

Flying kites!

I had four knee surgeries before the age of 16 that effectively ended my high school/travel baseball career.

I filled the void for 4 years after that by playing a certain video game on a competitive level. I traveled to cities like New York, Columbus, Orlando, Dallas, and LA. I made about 5 grand total in four years and then was unable to play it due to it and console gaming in general losing popularity and audience. I haven't been able to fill that competitive void since and it has left my life feeling like it lacks purpose and drive that I used to have. Since I have been unable to compete, I've done worse in college and bounced from job to job. I've recently been getting on track in a more guided and productive way but I fear I am lapsing back into a state of complacency. Maybe actually saying this will help somewhat. I think it already has.

i didn't know that there were competitions for video games. i saw a madden tournament on tv once, but i thought that was a one time thing to promote the game.

what game did you compete in?

I fed a chicken I had to take care of for class some chicken nuggets once.....

Gears of War 1, 2, and 3 on the xbox 360, its a shooter. I competed mainly in a thing called Major League Gaming, or MLG. They dropped the game in 2010 because it wasn't nearly as popular as other games that attract more viewers, advertisers, etc. I was considered a professional in it from 2008-2009, which isn't really saying much in the grand scheme of things. There were four players per team in a double elimination format, and the events usually held up to 128 or 256 teams and the top 8 teams (32 players) were considered professionals. You did get some cool stuff like access to an exclusive lounge area, some jerseys, and a $200 stipend per player that could go towards airfare, hotel, etc.

Probably just explained that a lot more than anyone cares to know, and that barely scratches the surface.

I love playing video games, I do it a lot, but I'm not good. lol I play it for the entertainment not for the competitiveness.

Didn't the guy from the Social Network do that too?

Yes. Okay, I'll admit - I never did it. But I will confess that I don't see anything wrong with it lol. Thinking it over, I can 'get it.' But, I'd of accidentally done the same. You see a hungry chicken, you're not going to think of cannibalism just feeding it to not have it be hungry anymore.

Oh, I do it now for those reasons. I don't even really play a ton of multiplayer games anymore, just the really juicy single player games. Put more time into Skyrim than I care to say.

I just happened to get into the competition side of it when I was 15 while I was laid up from a knee surgery. Not much to do besides game and rehab when you're knee won't work for 2-3 months.

I don't see that many hungry chickens, but I would feed the thing chicken. I mean, what do chickens eat anyway?

I do it a lot. I get bored easily. I find it fun. I'm messed up that way, some think I'm Andy Kaufman.

I confess that I'm hooked to a flying kite right now that is modeled after DaVinci's flight machine while typing this on my laptop from 20,000 feet. :woot:

I confess that I sometimes get lost in listening to music that I end up going to bed later than I should. Oh well.

I confess that IM3 is the first MCU movie I walked out of with mixed feelings

I thought it was "meh". I thought the same about Captain America.

Iron Man and Thor are my favorites apart from The Avengers (which I loved).

This night keeps getting better and better.
