Wii will also have the advantage of letting you buy and download all old Nintendo games from all the old systems (as well as old Sega game) and play them on the Wii. I think they're shooting for between 4.99 and 9.99 a classic game. So if there are any Nin/Sge classic games you love playing, now's your chance.

That's because I never played any TurboGrafx 16 games (and because I forgot). Which makes me think they said something about Neo-Geo games too. But that could just be my inner child flashing back to the glory days of gaming.

Yeah. I can't wait to get the Wi. Of course, I've been waiting forever for the new Zelda game. They should just make it available for the Wi, since it seems like it will be released about the same time. That game alone would give the consumer a reason to buy their system. It's been about 9 months that I've owned the 360, and I've only got about 10-12 games for it. I'm really hoping that the number of games start to increase. I will say, though, it's worth it just to play Oblivion. It's definitely the best game for that system.

Did you guys notice the new game from Marvel coming out? It's suppose to have over 100 Marvel characters that you can play. I hope it's good.

Man, I haven't been into games since Sega Genesis. I played Final Fantasy 7 and Final Fantasy 8 all the way through, but that's about it. These new things look interesting, but I can't justify myself to spend the money on them. Maybe I'm just a cheap skate.

If it wasn't for my boy, I probably wouldn't spend as much. But, I love to spoil him. And, frankly, since being single, it's a relief not to have to explain or justify how I spend my money anymore. I really don't play that much anymore. It comes in spurts, like right now playing Burnout: Revenge. But, soon I know I won't touch a controller for over a month at a time.

That's the great thing about the Wi, though: Those old games. Nowadays, it seems like everyone is making the same game, over and over. It's either Halo rip-offs, bad rpgs, or war games. I think with all of the games currently available for the 360, it seems like at least 3/10ths of them are some war game. Heck, my favorite games from the past were the old LucasArts games. Don't know if anyone remembers those classics, like Maniac Mansion and The Adventures of Zack McCracken.

I thought the new Zelda was a Wii game. Actually, now that I think about it, I know it is because you use the wand to control Links attacks and shooting the grappling hook and stuff.

Ok, after reading the previous posts, I took out Black Goliath. It had two people, at least, say to have him removed...so, that's what I did. I thought we'd take the list in chunks. This first chuck you can see above takes us to the complete list through the Fantastic Four. SO, feel free to say anyone you think should be eliminated from this list of 148 we currently have.

Personally, I would like the characters to have a decent biography about them available on the web somewhere. I read about Pulse, but, please provide a biography that would make debating that character easy for anyone who wishes to vote. That said, I myself might have reservations on the House of M characters. They don't have a rich history that can be brought up.

Also, if you fight for a character to be in the contest, it greatly weighs on my decision. I know Johnny Blaze really would like to see Ikaris and Gilgamesh on this thing. But, if you don't think you'll be taking part in the tournament, let me know. For the example provided, I will want those two characters to remain, because Johnny obviously is passionate about them remaining. But, if Blaze doesn't want in the tournament and the rest of us believe they might be too uber, then I'd like to know.

(I hope that doesn't sound like I'm being a jerk there. If it comes across that way, I don't mean it too. I just want all aspects considered in my or anyone elses decisions on who stays and who goes.)

Finally, if you see the above list we are looking over and have no problems with it, just send a post saying it looks good or something...that way we know you've signed off on it.

Well, I was looking at the Alpha-Flight potentials:

Time travel is banned in the tourney right? So Nemesis wouldn't have access to it. (Not even sure the type of travel she used.) But she still seems acceptable depending on what her magic blade can do.

Scramble seems like he'd win just about any fight against an organic being and lose any fight against a mechanical being. Not sure if he's worth having.

Tundra seems tuber. Reading this bio http://alphanex.alphaflight.net/index.php/Tundra ,he might be a good fight against Thanos but seems way to powerful for most, if not all, in the tourney.

On to the Avengers potentials:

Falcon & Redwing doesn't seem worth it. His only power is being linked to Redwing and seeing through his eyes. Other than that, he can fly only with the wings and is well trained. But I don't think he'd get very far against someone with even basic powers.

Ronin is another that seems wasteful. Her ability is great, and battling other fighters, even those with some power, she'd probably do good. But she'd have nothing to use against most of the characters.

Couldn't find anything on Killraven for Avengers, but his nonAvengers bio on wiki and MarvelDirectory doesn't impress me. He's got some strength, durability, and skills. But his only power is to project into Martian minds, which isn't likely to be useful here.

And I just want to make sure The Ghost is the Iron Man villain (at least that's what I found in one bio). If it is, he sounds good.
