Dropping Blackbolt?

I guess I can sort of see it, with his voice and everything. But he's got powers beyond his voice. And he really isn't that willing to use his vocal attack for fear of the damage it may cause. And while that isn't as much of a problem on most battlefields, some of our fights take place in populated areas. And that's really going to help keep Blackbolt's voice in check.

It has a lot to do with eliminating long arguments and problems this season. Blackbolt does have other powers (some good ones) but it could be easily argued that in dire situations he has used his voice.

Drop Ryker. A character without powers won't last loong in this tourney without top connections to the best intel and high-tech weapons. Nick Fury could actually take a couple of rounds with a little luck, and a lot of S.H.I.E.L.D access.

As well I wonder if we want to consider adding Invincible Woman and Inhuman Torch from the House of M. They were part of the Fearsome Four created by Doom. Their powers are similiar to the IW and Torch but they are extremely ruthless, enjoy killing and are magically based.

I don't know, if that were the case than we would be more inclined in keeping multi versions of the same character if their personalities and/or power levels are different. I think it might be tedious to include so many versions of Hulk, especially if we add Ravage and Madman since they are powerhouses too, not to mention Abomination, Maestro, etc...

Well, I think we need to specify the particular Hulk that we first want. But, I have no problem putting Mr. Fixit in the potential thread. It has just seemed for a while, the writers can't figure out which Hulk they wanted; but, I guess with Planet Hulk, it's more Savage than anything.

This is a pretty good group of characters that with a proper debate could possibly get pretty far.

Wasn't Mr. Fixit only transformed at night? In daylight he turned back to Banner. Or did he fix that problem? If not, he wouldn't last very long in a battlefield in the sun.

Here is what I read:

"Transformation: Initially, Bruce would transform into the Grey Hulk at night and then back at dawn. This was subconscious due to the fact that Bruce was ashamed of the dark, not very nice thoughts the Grey Hulk represented and would only let him out at night, in the dark, where he wouldn't be seen. Later, the change was due to will power."

So, it would be the newer version that could change due to will power.

Maybe we need to determine how many Hulks we should have, and then vote. With Fixit, Savage, Maestro and the rest, we could end up having a Hulk in every bracket by the time we're done. I think we should have at most three versions of The Hulk. Hell, it's hard enough to beat one of them...I'd hate to have to possibly face five.
