The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Dane Dehaan IS Harry Osborn

I want to see Mysterio one the big screen. Lots of visual potential and real menace potential. But I would also be up for seeing Venom done properly because let's face it, Raimi's rendition was a disgrace.

I remember being up in arms with Nolan covering old ground with wanting to make The Joker, c'mon man, we've seen The Joker already but boy was I wrong. So, I would be less than happy to see Venom (again) but the realistic tone of ASM plus being able to draw on SM3 as a guide what NOT to do would fill me with hope that (Webb and co) can turn a one note/one dimensional character into a truly unforgettable big screen villian.

I like this quote: "I don't think you have to be a fan of something to do the job," he said matter-of-factly. "I think ultimately it's important that I'm familiar with past takes on the Osborn story, more for like common, know-it-all 'cause it's stuff I should know. My job as an actor is the same job, whether it’s a comic book movie or a gritty Derek Cianfrance drama, or a 'Chronicle,' or a 'Lawless,' which is to take a character and, for lack of better word, to breathe life into it. I'm a fan of acting!"

That's something I'm waiting for as well. I'm sure he's been considered. You would think after all the movies, that he'd have been done already but no. Visually, it could be real cool you're right, but I feel also it'd be way challenging to translate what's real or what's his illusions..or what's spidey's pov.
It'd be really cool though to see Mysterio, 'cause then Spidey's spider-sense would HAVE to be utilized.

I really loved this remark from him:

I've always gravitated towards comic book movies. I don't read comic books, but I love the last Batman franchise, Sam Raimi's second 'Spider-Man' was pretty sick. The first 'Iron Man' was really great, I couldn't wait for 'Captain America' to come out. Those are my guilty pleasures for sure."

Spider-Man 2 is his favorite of Raimi's Spidey movies

But then he goes on to call them guilty pleasures. He shoud be castrated and burned.

Guess who is psyched to see this Harry portrayal? I am!

Really?? Looks totally not like Harry. Wrong Hair color for a start! Cant they get things like this right?!

The bags under his eyes portray many, many boozy druggy nights. Yep, they are definitely going down the drug storyline with Dane!

He looks good though and Harry in the comics was hardly attractive so I'd say he is kind of FINE as far as looks!!

I think he looks kinda shady. Maybe they are gonna do the drug addiction storyline. That will definitely depart it from the original trilogy.

I hope they do Harry/Venom or Harry/New Villain or something along those lines. I am tired of Harry/Goblin. I like the Norman Goblin much better, and in my opinion, the Goblin is one of those iconic villains that should stay with his alter ego, and never stray.

These Max and Harry photos are a real treat. Harry definitely looks wealthy and as some of you said, shady. In USM, Harry looked wealthy. I'm liking this a lot.

Looks like a dapper son of a gun.

I wonder if he is returning to New York after a stint in rehab?

I'm waiting to see his scenes with Garfield.

LOL @ y'all talking about drug addiction. Sure, that could happen, but that's just how Dane naturally looks. :p
