Having a film released in IMAX must cost a lot of money.

If it wasn't filmed with IMAX cameras to start with, how do they do it? It wouldn't be real IMAX.

If the other studios are willing to spend extra cash for an Imax release, I dont see why Fox cant do the same thing to their biggest film of the year. I feel like Fox likes to limit the X-men series and thats why the success that the X-men films are getting isnt earth shaterring.

If they keep up the quality and ramp up the action they will keep seeing further growth. Main thing is avoid any more franchise killing stinkers which take a decade to recover from.

I'm actually excited with a younger original X-Men in the Apocalypse movie and love a non Wolverine movie. I just don't know if the GA would be as excited.

As long as the quality is there it adds to the overall positive image of the franchise and distances itself further from the mistakes. That will help I think when they do another full on event movie in future.

Wow.692 Million WW. Bryan Singer and Simon Kinberg will be getting those tatoos soon.It's defently topping 700 Million.

It will be Intresting to see how overseas Box office ends up VS the Amazing Spider-man 2.

It's already outgrossed Winter Soldier overseas.It's same story as In 2011.Cap did better domesticly and X-Men did better overseas although this time cap had avengers bumb and most think WS Is better than FA.While X-Men had return of OT cast and even topped both FC and X2 In quality based on both audence and critic reaction.

ASM2 Is just under 200 Million domestic and it made 503 million overseas VS DOFP 475 Million Overseas.
