Katie filming a music video for her new movie where she plays a singer in a band.

Eh, IMDB is not really the most reliable place, especially when no official cast lists have been released in movies or games.

I really need KC to show up on the Flarrowgirl set, they are practically done with the crossover/100th and she still hasnt shown up.

Wendy on the return of KC
Katie Cassidy did sign a deal to be a series regular across all Arrow-verse shows. What ways might we see her appear in Arrow outside of just flashbacks?
Mericle: I can tell you that we're really excited about having her back. You will see in the episodes where she appears - Episode 510 definitely, our midseason premiere. Keep your eyes out for that. We're so excited about getting to work with her again and her willingness to come back. It's one of the fun parts of the show. People can leave and get killed and you can still find new and crazy ways for them to come back. I can definitely tell you that there's a way we're going to bring her back and she's going to be alive and well. And Flashpoint might have a little bit to do with that.

And Katie announced that she will be back in Vancouver on Oct.6 which is the very end of Arrows 100th episode/crossover so she wont be playing a very big role.

So what does this mean? Is she really coming back?

I'd like to know that too.

IF they're using Flashpoint to resurrect Laurel Lance (or rather to re-write whatever events so that Laurel Lance didn't die and presumably just moved to another city for non-superhero work), then I might almost have to start watching Arrow again.

99% I feel like this doesnt mean that she will be back full time. Will just continue to be reoccurring.

Need a Birds of Prey spinoff. Make it a super short 6-8 episode season and show it during winter or summer breaks.

Wow, the EP was really emphasizing that Laurel will definitely be back. That is definitely a mea culpa for what happened last season.

While it nice they're trying to throw an olive branch, this is just plain silly writing. Sara dies and comes back, Laurely dies and comes back. How many times are we gonna have to see Quentin grieve over a lost daughter only for it to be reversed shortly after? This is becoming Daytime Soap Opera level ridiculous.

If they want to use Katie/Laurel that badly, they should use Black Siren or another alternative version. At least that would be different because the characters will be reacting to someone who's sort of Laurel, but the one they know is still dead.

I personally think it will be Black Siren. It would be useless introducing her only to leave her locked up and forgotten.

Now I could be wrong, but isn't Flashpoint and Earth 2 totally different worlds?

I mean, last season showed us what Earth 2 looked like, which was a different universe, but my understanding of Flashpoint is that it's in the same world, just a different timeline. Like Barry goes back to the past to save his mom from the RF, as opposed to Earth 2 where, in this case, there was no RF, only Zoom, and Barry wasn't the Flash.

So the way I see it, we may end up with a Dinah Lance that never dated Oliver, and has no true relationship to him. Of course, this would go against Arrow's unofficial policy of not allowing any females on the show that could possibly be shipped with Oliver from a fan perspective. Speakign of which, my worst fear is that they would actually do that, and give us another Oliver/Laurel romance, only to crap on it again as Felicity realizes her boyfriend is a bad guy or something and runs back to Oliver.

If her appearances get a good response, hopefully she will be brought back fulltime. I have said it many times before, but it would be in their best interests to do so.

Would it be in their best interests? Overall, yes.

But my feelings are that its similar to catching your SO cheating on you, and then forgiving them. It's a huge betrayal of trust and they showed their true intentions. Going back on it now almost feels like backtracking and it doesn't feel genuine. They could have her in a starring role by next season, but I would still know in the back of my mind that they decided to screw that character and the actress at some point, and bringing her back doesn't change that.

It is so crap that they deviated from their original plan with Laurel. I really wish we got to see what they were originally going to do with her. We were promised something, but they then changed their minds. To add insult to injury, they killed her.

I would have been much more satisfied had they wrote her off like they did with Roy. But by outright kill her off, and then bring in an imposter in the very next episode, and have her last words be about supporting Olicity, it just all felt like it was in bad taste to the character and the history of her in the comics/show.

I really think we are probably lucky that Katie likes her castmates/fans and will come back at all. At least, if I was her, I would probably not want to work with Guggenheim again.

Honestly I think Quentin should've been the one to get killed off last season, his character's arc from season 1 through 4 felt kinda wrapped up.

I almsot feel like his death would have been too obvious and expected, which goes against their real goal, which is doing shocking things for the sake of headlines.

That's the funny thing, MG said that Laurels story had run its course but how is hers wrapped up but Quentin still has all this story left to tell? We've already seen him lose a daughter and break down because of it. Laurel still had so much growing to do it baffles me.

That was just straight up insulting, and not to sound like a super go-hard feminist, but that was a horrible way to reduce her to nothing more than Oliver's ex.
