I love how someone was trying to argue with me on Facebook why Laurel dying makes more sense than Quentin dying. I don't think they're a hater, but they also believe that she will come back when the Green Lantern appears and they do a Blackest Day/Night arc.

This interview with MG makes me laugh and roll my eyes all at the same time

I told Marc that when the Olicity fandom heard about the negativity he was experiencing from the LL fandom, and that’s the reason he left Twitter, there were so many people asking me to tell him how much we love and respect him.

He was truly touched and wanted me to convey again to the Olicity fandom how much he loves us. Our support means the world to him. Marc knows how much we care about these characters and his story.

We talked a little bit more about Laurel’s death. I told him that when K*tie C*ssidy was at SDCC last year I thought it was a bit odd she wasn’t talking all that much about her Season 4 arc. Marc looked surprised, and like he was trying to remember. He said, “Yeah?” I could tell he didn’t know where I was going with this. So I said, “Yeah… my immediate thought was since she’s not promoting much of a storyline it means she’s leaving. I thought it meant she was leaving Arrow for Legends.” I explained that I loved the Laurel and Sara story and I was super jazzed about that possibility. Marc’s eyes went wide and he said, “Ohhhh…” And then I told him, “Then the Season 4 premiere aired with the flash forward of the grave and I said, ‘Nope! Not going to Legends!’” He laughed and got this sort of sweet, but sheepish grin on his face and he said, “Nope. We didn’t do that!”

I told Marc I said all season Arrow was killing off Laurel and how I had so many people telling me, “They can’t kill the Black Canary.” Marc nodded, completely exasperated, and said, “I know! I don’t get that! Of course we can!” It was as unfathomable to him, as it was to me, that people were saying that.

I told Marc I really believe Arrow got all it could out of the BC. When that happens you have to be ready to let the character go. Marc agreed 100%. He said, “That’s really it.” Also, he said it’s good they found a different way to invite Katie back on occasion. I told him she was great as the Black Siren (which she was) and he was really happy I enjoyed that.

But then we talked about Emily, Stephen and David. I told him I understood why the LL fandom was so upset (and so does Marc). I said, “I mean… what if you killed Felicity?” We grabbed each other’s hands and both shuddered. Marc just shook his head and said, “I would NEVER do that.” Then he said, “ There is absolutely no show without Stephen, Emily and David. They are the show. PERIOD.”

The big bad LL fandom made MG quit twitter while the other side coddled him. And of course Black Canary isn't safe from anything while the OTA can't be touched.

What makes even less sense is they killed Sara to push Laurel on the journey to becoming the Black Canary, only to bring Sara back and kill Laurel. It would have made more sense to just kill Laurel in the first place, if that was the direction they were going in.

At the time, it would have been shocking, but since Sara was already more popular than Laurel, no one would have complained. But to give Laurel somewhat of a journey where she overcame all the hate and was now liked, it makes no sense whatsoever.

In the premiere of Season 3 instead of killing Sara they put her in a coma. Then some time later Laurel takes on that BC persona and dies trying to protect her sister, let's say from Malcolm trying to finish the job. I would of been cool with that. Either way she deserved at least a heroic death not that helpless ******** we got.

Glad Katie will be back. I just hope it's not on Arrow, it's on Flash, Legends or even Super Girl. Don't even bring Black Siren to Arrow because we know Felicity will have a heart to heart conversation with her and make her change sideszzzz......

What I hope is that she has a episode on The Flash where she gets away from the meta prison, then goes over to Legends to temporally join Legion of Doom, but then meets Sara, maybe Sara of earth 2 could be dead, so she kind of has a change of heart and both of them take on Damian Darkh. There, sweet revenge, both sisters back on the action again togheter, then she leaves and maybe ends up on a Birds Of Prey type of episode on Super Girl, she could be trying to get back to earth 2 and ended up on Super Girls earth. But please, not Arrow....
