Arrow Dinah Laurel Lance/Katie Cassidy Thread - Part 4

I mentioned it before, but I would love to be introduced to the ADA of National City, Laurel Lance!

I was hoping for Earth-S versions of both Team Flash and Team Arrow, especially with Barry Allen and Dinah Laurel Lance.

You know, I wonder if Laurel's upcoming mini appearances/return has anything to do with the fact that Damien Dark has taken himself out of the main timeline by traveling with the Reverse Flash?

Because if Damien is no longer following the timeline, then that would mean (theoretically) that Laurel would have never been killed in the first place. Only by putting him back in the timeline and having him following the path that he was supposed to have been on would Laurel's fate return to what it is now.

The "time ripples" would take to long for that. Amaya is outside of her timeline but that wont be affecting Mari in the present day as far as we know. It is something that they will choose to ignore.

I can't see Black Siren really caring about the fate of some alternate universe doppelganger. She seemed pretty intent on murder and mayhem and not necessarily in that order. But... Having said that, we really don't know anything about the character in order to make a true judgment. She's only had a few scenes with no real growth.

What if? This alternate timeline or whatever they're giving us where Laurel gets married is a part of the BS origin story?

I dont think it has anything to do with BS. They wouldn't really focus on her for the big 100th. I yhunk it has more to do with a what if for Oliver, if he never got on the boat. We know he gets abducted.

That's really funny because the 100th episode of Hawaii Five-0

McGarrett was abducted by Wo Fat and had dreams about what if his dad had never died. It sounds like something very similar happens with Oliver. I doubt they're intentionally harping Five-0, especially since the 100th episode was just two years ago, but it's a pretty funny coincidence.

Arrow isn't really one for original ideas. But that one is a pretty common tv trope.

I don't think they intertwine the series stories that closely. That have major arcs that they follow, but every little change on Legends would not effect Arrow.

In the second or third ep of this season's Arrow, Oliver mentioned Laurel being dead, so at this point I believe that she is still gone. Flashpoint has already come and gone and effected its changes, so I don't think she's coming back from that.

And the thing with time travel stories is that we don't know what came before, or what people may think they are doing different that is actually exactly as they did it the first time.

So Damien Darhk interacting with Thrawn may not be something new. This may be the way it happened from the very beginning, with the only difference being that we think it's different.

It has to be different since we saw that Steins history change right in front of his eyes.

Thawne came from a reality where Barry didnt become The Flash until much later in life. He ended changing that.

Laurel was in the Vixen season finale with zero lines. So she had like a total of 2 words over 3 episodes lol.

What did she actually do? Just fight in the background?

That's the animated one right? So how does that fit into these shows, especially as there is a Vixen on Legends?

Mostly just stood around, she fought the bad guy, got knocked down and just stood silent in the finale.

Vixen S2 takes place during S4 of Arrow.

It is a bit of a joke that Vixen is using her so little, just like it was last year on Arrow.

They need to pluck Dinah Laurel out of that reality in the Arrow part of the crossover.

That is pretty sad. Did Katie even voice her? I'd feel pretty stupid if I had to stand in the recording booth, and all I got to say were a couple of words.

Yeah she voiced the character. They could've just lifted audio from Arrow, nothing she said was of that much relevance.

I think we can safely guess "Ollie gets put in Dominator VR prison".

Please let Katie appear in Supergirl as Black Canary.

My DCTV Universe would be happily complete! Just think of all the Black Canary fans who would flock to watch Supergirl if Laurel was moved there!
