Disney's Frozen - Part 3

well, I'd like Elsa to have a love interest.

but story and characterization are more important.

and what Frozen did was turn typical conventions on their head, and I think the sequel should follow that spirit.

if they can write in a love interest for Elsa that works in that context, fine. if not, then they shouldn't do it.

I'd rather have no sequel at all and just leave the story as is than get a "cheap" sequel that feels more like an attempt to cash in on the franchise.

Like those Shrek sequels, which were made mostly as money grabs IMO.

and that's the feeling I get with most of these Disney sequels.

it seems only Toy Story has been able to pull off multiple sequels that were actually good.

You mean you don't want this stretched out to four films and to see an alternate universe version of the film where [BLACKOUT]Hans wins[/BLACKOUT] and then a fifth that's totally going to be an organic continuation and is absolutely not just desperately looking to milk it further? :oldrazz:

oh.....you mean like the X-Men movies that never seem to die??

sure......why not. :o :oldrazz:

Actually, I meant Shrek since X-Men's gotten their stuff together after Origins. :oldrazz:

Shrek 2 was great. After that, yeah, it went off the rails. They should have stopped after the second one.

Frozen has made over a billion dollars and is about to cross $400 million domestic. There WILL be a sequel, it's simply impossible for any studio to ignore that kind of money.

ah.

well X-Men went in the right step with First Class, and I was hoping that would lead to a full on reboot.

however, since Days of Future Past IS a time travel movie.........

well, that just seems like an awfully convenient excuse to hit that giant reset button and start a new continuity going forward.

I want Cyclops and Jean Grey back damnit!! I want the Real Phoenix!! :cmad:

and I want a Wolverine who isn't the tallest dude in the room!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm definitely up for a sequel and the biggest question for me is the well written plot and the characterization which is primarily emphasized. I'm interested in what it will be explored with Elsa's motives like her love interest or exploring the one of her superpowers.

P.S.: I modify that word a little bit because I have been looking for a right word which I found it right here. English is my second language.

Yeah, I have a hunch that Elsa's hidden talents will be revealed but I'm not entirely sure what it is. I really want to know what Elsa will do and I'm curious what Disney will do with her in a sequel.

hidden talents as in other interests/hobbies she has??

I think it would be cool if she was a musician, say a pianist.

that would be unique, cuz I don't recall any other Disney Princess playing instruments ( other than Rapunzel playing the guitar ).

I also forget to mention that Disney should add an upcoming villain who would challenge Elsa during her reign as Queen. That would be interesting.

well, like I said as X Knight, it would be a twist if said villain had power of his own and also was a LI to Elsa.

but, regardless, I would like to see Elsa actually acting as a Queen if they make a sequel.

speaking of which, since Elsa threw her crown away in the Ice Palace, they'd have to make her a new crown as Queen......lol

something like this fan art would be nice!

I would love to see a villain along the lines of Maleficent....Disney hasn't put out a villain in my opinion that comes close to her. Not exactly like her, but that same presence.

well, it would have to make sense and add to the story.

for Elsa's LI, I think it would be neat if he, too, had powers of his own. (Elsa can't be the only magically gifted person that exists in that world).

perhaps he is a prince from a rival kingdom and could serve as the main "villain" for the movie (a villain who'd reform in the end).

so, Elsa would be torn between finding someone "like her" who she can relate to, but also she must protect her kingdom as Queen.

We already know that isn't the case with the cameo by Rapunzel. It's also implied when the leader of the trolls asks if Elsa was born with the powers or cursed, meaning there are people born with powers and some of them have the power to curse.
Knowing this they could go all X-Men and have a magical threat that Elsa and the gang would have to confront.

or a certain bald, professor shows up in a wheel chair and invites Elsa to join his "school." :oldrazz:

Xavier: "I'm Professor Xavier. Would you like some breakfast?"

Elsa: ".............does it have chocolate in it :o??

Anna is "ordinary"...in the best sense. :o

and you know what would have made for an awesome post credit sequence??

Elsa and Anna are walking through the palace gardens, spending time with each other and catching up, when they meet a certain short haired Brunette in a pink dress, who turns around, smiles, and curtsies to greet the Queen and Princess, who in turn return the gesture.

Hans sees Anna and one word flashes in bold in his mind................

SUCKER!!!

Anna sees Hans and...........several unspeakable, naughty thoughts fill her mind........:sus

Haha, that would be nice if Elsa joins Professor X's school and she can be taught to use her powers for good.

And then a certain man in a dorky looking helmet remarks, "We are the future Elsa not them, they no longer matter."

There's the other way a sequel could go. If we go with the Rapunzel is Anna and Elsa's cousin theory, then magical abilities would seem to run in the family, and in females in particular. Anna may not be "ordinary", it may be whatever she can do hasn't manifested yet, possibly since she was so isolated in the period between the Elsa mishap and the coronation.
Just pure speculation of course, but it would be an interesting turn to follow in a sequel.
