Looks good

Having seen Doolittle, dude this ain't it. At least this movie won't involve someone shoving their arm up a dragon's butt.I'm getting RDJ Dolittle vibes from this.
The CGI looks like ass too. And why is the fairy bald?
How about a whale's butt?Having seen Doolittle, dude this ain't it. At least this movie won't involve someone shoving their arm up a dragon's butt.
Because the actress is bald?I'm getting RDJ Dolittle vibes from this.

When I saw the ratio on the trailer, I thought I was in for something really bad, but I liked it. Looks like Pinocchio, and a lot of fun. Kids are going to love it.
That said, the ratio probably has a lot to do with a black person having the gull to show up in a film.

I think it looks good. Surprised they didn't take this to theaters, especially with Tom Hanks, but whatever.
Of course the usual suspects will have something to say about Cynthia Erivo, but what else is new.

The animal cgi and their activities and Hanks role in this doesn't look much better. And its concerning that the focus is so heavily on Hanks, thr cricket, and the animals.Having seen Doolittle, dude this ain't it. At least this movie won't involve someone shoving their arm up a dragon's butt.

Cynthia Erivo keeps her hair short. It wouldn’t look right if she was wearing a blonde wig styled like the original film.
It was. But I still think that there's enough interest to justify a theatrical release.Wasn’t this movie made for streaming? Same with Chip n’ Dale? Soul, Luca, and Turning Red were made for theaters and then put on streaming at the last minute (which I agree was unfair). But I do think that there should be movies intended for streaming (and hopefully good).
Erivo looks and sounds amazing as the Blue Fairy, but her character got like two scenes in the 1940 film. Rather a thankless role for a lot of actresses.

You are getting dangerously close to defining how a black woman should look to please your view on a character whose hair is 100% meaningless. So maybe just don't.She's playing a character. Not herself. Put a wig on her or cast someone with hair.
They could have went with a darker hair color. Or went with a pearl white, silver, or even blue. She's pretty much uniformly blue and covered in cgi, anyways.
Pleasure Island left some scars on me. Even as an adult I dont like watching the original.

Tell me what I'm "looking for".…and you’re probably searching for something, what you wish to find
Btw I think she looks good.
I prefer good movies skip theater direct to streaming than mediocre movies (like almost every netflix movie)
racism where there isn’t racism.Tell me what I'm "looking for".
