And he's a great actor, despite what his cartoony performance in Punisher Warzone would lead to believe.

Maybe before the movie came out but The Avengers board seems quite nice now. Everyone's smiling at each other like they personally created the movie

Avengers board wasn't really that nice though. There were and are a bunch of troll in The Avengers boards. There are trolls everywhere except for one forum: The Thor boards. Those were chills threads with little arguing or anything. There was helmetgate, but that died quickly.

Well, there was the Alexander Skarsgard vs. Kevin McKidd thing, but that didnt last that long.

I can remember a couple of arguments in the Thor boards. Honestly, no board is without trolls...

There where people trolling about Idris Elba as Heimdall. A couple even got banned I think.

Elba's role is going to be even larger in Thor 2 and after the Avengers even more people will probably want to see it.

Urm... I remember a couple of people trolling because the Aesir were depicted as gods, which was heresy in their minds.
And yeah, the Heimdall debate was miserable.
Also, I kinda miss Kuroswawas rants on the Cap boards.

The only way we're getting a Dr. Strange board is if it's that mystery Marvel movie to come out May 16, 2014.

I think that will be that movie. I can't see something like Ant Man or Runaways, they want to build up to Avengers 2 with some new additions. Dr. Strange seems like the perfect next step.

There's also Guardians of the Galaxy, and seeing that the Avengers 2 villain could be [BLACKOUT]Thanos[/BLACKOUT], GotG seems lie a much more perfect fit, not that I'm partial to either one. I think both could be great choices.

I will kill people to get a GotG movie. Dr Strange would be my second choice though. He was heavily involved with the Infinity Gauntlet too.

To add my thought from the other thread - I've always looked at Strange as an older, more suave gentleman and in fact I'll go so far as to say that if I were in charge of the Dr. Strange movie, I'd place his accident/origin/training sometime in the mid 70's/early 80's and say that he's been defending the MCU from various supernatural threats all this time and none of us were the wiser because he's smart and capable and tricky enough to keep a low profile.

Neeson has the look, he has the dramatic range, he has the maturity I associate with Strange, he has the voice for shouting weird things like 'Hoary Hosts Of Hoggoth' without sounding cheesy.

I've always loved the Thought of Neeson as Strange....just imagine his voice saying incantations *swooning*

Neeson would be perfect, but that's almost too much of a fantasy casting, like wanting Vincent Price to take it. Marvel will want someone younger to build a franchise with. I agree with others in saying that Strange has always been one of the older gentleman super heroes. Neeson would be a perfect fit!

Liam Neeson would be a good choice, but I think he's too old for the role.

Oscar Isaac is the guy for Strange. He's constantly stealing scenes in every film he's in and manages to elevate crappy films like Robin Hood or Sucker Punch. He's on the cusp of stardom and Marvel should scoop him up quick.

Neeson would be a good pick, and I like the idea of having him unknowingly established already to account for his age. Still stuck on Brosnan for Doc Strange, myself, but You can not go wrong with Ottway!
