Someone once told me a 90 looks a lot better than a 89.

In some places, it depends on how it works with your ambition
My country for example, a rule states one needs to have at least a GPA 90% in high school to be allowed to enter Med school

I've gotten a lot closer. At my high school, they rounded grades and didn't have +'s or -'s. My 100+% overachieving sister was pissed that she'd get the same grade as me on the transcript, even though, for example, in physics I got 89.5%.

I called it being efficient. Why bust my ass for 100+% if I hate physics anyway, if an 89.5% would be just as sufficient?

Yeah, they do want all A's in undergrad if you're going to medical school. But really only the best schools. Even if you go to the worst medical school and barely pass, you'll still be called "doctor" at the end.

I had a B average in college and I actually had the folks job interviewing me say that that was good, for the school I was going to. College was such a hit to my intellectual self-esteem.

Same here. There's a great video about MegaMan on youtube that talks a lot about oldschool games vs newschool games, and he hits on so many good points about game design.

I absolutely hate whenever someone has an appointment with you (be it a repairman, a vet making a house call, etc.) & then does not show up leaving waiting for hours on end.

I hate the fact that I'm such an unorganized person. Anytime I try to make a schedule in order to be organized I keep it for about a week and then life disrupts it.

Ugh, that happens to me with my workout routine. If I'm lucky, I'll actually keep it for a whole week before stuff gets in the way.

I'm the same way myself. I've been trying to get out and be more active by going jogging and playing basketball everyday on my own, but after a few days, I go back to my normal routine. But I have heard that it takes 3 weeks to make something a habit, so if you can try and do that, it should stick. its hard, but its better to have a short term goal like that than to go in thinking "I'm going to do this for a long time".

I'm not a big fan of Twitter and rarely use it, but I really hate when I see people tweet at celebrities asking for a retweet. In fact, that's why I really hate Twitter in general, because it makes regular people feel like they can communicate with celebrities, and if they get a response, they feel like they're best friends with them.
