Since The Dark Phoenix Saga is pretty dumb and yet well regarded, what's the point of giving the so called bad movies bad rating? Give each a 9/10 and let it pass

Because people's opinions can be different. And just because you think something is bad doesn't make it bad, and doesn't mean someone can't honestly rate it highly.


That being said, the ratings of most video games are pretty much crap in terms of usefulness because the game 'journalists' suck up to the publishers and readers big time. They don't want to give games, especially franchises, bad ratings and piss off the fanbase. And they don't want to anger the publishers who will cut off all the free goodies and review copies of games.

Same reason so many 'tech' journalists are garbage too. They just suck up to the gadget companies so they can get stuff for free.

Iconic, yes, but I don't like the alien connection, it's one of the dumbest stories
Sometimes it gives me reason to believe: "What is a bad movie? Reception is bad, give it a 9/10 and let it pass"
If it's a movie I like of course, and the Room is not one, it's horrible, but has fun quotes

I'd assume it's because he has a problem with what is essentially an allegory about racism and bigotry on a human scale, suddenly tossed into the cosmos for no real reason what so ever.

I used to feel that way about Mutants in space too, until I accepted the fact that it's simply par for the course in super hero comics.

That said, I don't care for it either. But that's cuz I think Jean Grey is the sux.

I hate that every time I watch cartoons or buy a superhero t-shirt, hat, movie, whatever, people tell me to grow up and buy adult things. I'm like

I've always been artistic and drawn stuff as a kid which is why I have tons of DVD's of 80's cartoons as reference but I can't stand Disney/Pixar stuff because you know......that's for kids. t:

I said I didn't like the way they connected aliens in it, it's a real bad way, and is very important to the story
I don't like how it starts with the Phoenix Saga, there are good elements here and there, but mostly it started the awful Shi'ar connection

The animated adaption didn't make it any better, X-Men Evolution made a very wise choice in ignoring it

I'm really not a morning person, so I hate when people wake me up early or talk to me during the first hour that I'm awake just to tell me to go out and do something, especially if I already had plans for the day.

With that said, I hate how my mom called me this morning just as I woke up because she did a little shopping and wants me to walk to her job and pick it up by myself. I really hate it because its another example of how she starts things, but expects others to finish it for her. Part of me feels like going there and doing it anyway just so she won't be upset, but then I remember everyone here and some of my friends telling me to live my life and to stop letting her control me. Bad enough I've been stuck home all day this week waiting for a package for her that never came, but now I'm finally free to do what I want and she's bothering me again.
